Romslo With The Call

The action started with Simen Romslo raising to 2,900 from the hijack. Tae Hoon Han then bumped it up to 6,400 forcing a fold from the players in the blinds. Romslo made the call and both players watched the flop come down .

Romslo check called a continuation bet of 6,000 from Han before both players opted to check the turn.

The fell on the river and Romslo checked for the third time. Han thought about his decision for a moment before sliding in a large stack of 5,000-chips forcing Romslo all in. Romslo had 25,700 behind and went into the tank for a couple of minutes. He finally made the call as both players tabled their cards.

“You win,” said Hoon, flashing his for jack-high. Romslo then rolled over his for ace-high and did indeed take down the pot.

“If you’re going to report on that hand, you have to say I’m from Norway,” said Romslo to the nearby field reporter following the completion of the hand.

Knox Runs Into Aces

The action folded around to Carl Knox in the cut off who moved all in for his last 16,500 in chips. Cory Fransham called from the button and blinds folded.

Unfortunately for Knox he had run his into Fransham’s and was unable to improve as the board ran out king-high.

Chip Leader Loses Big to Ward

Thomas Ward has just taken a massive pot off the chip leader Mehrdad Razmi.

It wasn't a good start to the day for Razmi anyway and it only got worse after battling with Ward.

We didn't catch all the action, but we know Ward held on a -X--X- board for the flush and enough to see Razmi's cards in the muck. With that, Ward had swapped places with Razmi as the chip leader.

Elliott Gets Rivered

McKenzie Keeps Crushing

Jesse McKenzie has been crushing early on Day 2.

He recently moved his stack towards 200,000 after sending Barry O'Callaghan to the rail.

O'Callaghan's chips went in preflop. He held and was up against McKenzie's .

The dealer flipped over a flop and O'Callaghan got out of his seat.

Then a hit the turn and O'Callaghan started leaving, hesitating slightly to watch a complete the board on the river.

Interestingly, McKenzie sat as low as 5,000 late on Day 1c, then picked up pocket aces in back-to-back hands and is now the chip leader.
