"That Was Hot!"

Grant Levy
Grant Levy
With two limpers in the pot, Grant Levy popped it up to 325 and found one caller. They took a flop of {10-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} and it was checked to Levy, who fired 525. His opponent then check-raised to 1,500, which Levy called.

The turn was the {K-Clubs} and again it was checked to Levy who this time fired out 1,250, forcing a fold from his opponent. Levy flashed the {6-Spades} as he raked in the chips.

"That was hot!" remarked Jonny Vincent. "This is going to be a fun table I think!"

Levy is now up to 10,200 in chips.

Up and Down for Yoyo

Jonny "Yoyo" Vincent

On a board reading {J-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{3-Clubs} Jonny Vincent moved all in for around 8,000, covering his opponent, who thought for awhile before making the call.

"Dammit!" exclaimed Vincent. "Queens?"

Vincent was close, but his opponent flipped {A-Spades}{A-Hearts} to put Vincent in trouble with his {J-Spades}{10-Spades}. The turn was the {6-Hearts} leaving Vincent with only 3,100 in chips.

Another Pot For Grunter

Grant Levy opened with a raise to 325 from early position and found one caller. The flop came down {2-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} and both players checked.

"Really?" exclaimed Levy as the turn fell the {J-Hearts}. Levy fired out 400 before being raised to 1,500. Levy made the call.

The river landed the {4-Clubs} and both players checked it down. Levy flipped {Q-Clubs}{Q-Spades} to collect another pot and move up to 12,600.

El Doble for Vincent

Jonny Vincent's day continues to be marked by peaks and valleys. After the small blind opened the pot to 600, Vincent shoved all in for about 3,000 from the big blind. The small blind debated before making the call.

SB: {K-Spades} {J-Clubs}
Vincent: {K-Diamonds} {3-Hearts}

Things looked pretty bleak for Vincent, but he managed to make top two pair on a flop of {K-Clubs} {3-Diamonds} {2-Hearts}. The turn and river came {Q-Hearts} {4-Hearts} to send his stack back up over the 6,000-chip mark.

Pang of Pain as Ang is Eliminated

Josh Pang Ang was never able to recover from the early setbacks he suffered today. On a flop of {8-Clubs} {K-Clubs} {7-Clubs}, he moved in for his last several hundred chips. He was instantly called by his lone opponent. Ang had a draw with {Q-Clubs} {10-Diamonds}, but his opponent had already flopped the nuts with {A-Clubs} {3-Clubs}. The {2-Spades} and {8-Spades} completed the board to send Ang to the rail.

Timex Cautiously Wins Small Pot

Mike "Timex" McDonald limped into a pot along with three other players. They all checked when the flop came down ragged and unconnected, {3-Clubs} {6-Spades} {Q-Diamonds}. On the {6-Clubs} turn, action checked to McDonald, who bet 650. The button player and the big blind both called.

Everyone checked through a river of {J-Clubs}. McDonald tabled {A-Hearts} {Q-Spades} for top pair, top kicker. It was the winner. He now has about 11,000.

Julian Powell
David Steicke raised to 600 preflop and Julian Powell made the call out of the big blind. The flop landed {Q-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} and Powell checked to Steicke, who fired out 650. Powell made the call.

The turn brought the {9-Spades} and again Powell checked to Steicke who fired again, this time for 1,075. Powell then check-raised to 3,000 in total, with Steicke making the call.

The river landed the {5-Spades} and Powell moved all in for his last 9,000, covering Steicke, who went into the tank. He eventually folded and Powell raked in a nice pot to move up to 17,800 with Steicke falling to 6,000.
