Recent Eliminations

There was a flurry of bust-outs just before the break.

Tom Guise is out. His pocket jacks couldn't outrace Carter Gill's {K-Diamonds} {Q-Hearts} after a king hit the flop.

At the same time that Guise was busting, Tony Dunst also was eliminated from the tournament.

And in a hand that went five minutes into the break, Markus Mansour was eliminated. He made it 10,000 to go preflop and was called by Julio Diaz on the button. The flop came down {2-Clubs} {6-Diamonds} {5-Diamonds}. Mansour bet 20,000, and was called by Diaz.

On the turn {10-Hearts}, Mansour moved all in for about 64,000. Diaz tanked for three minutes before making the call. His {Q-Diamonds} {Q-Spades} were each one pip better than Mansour's {J-Hearts} {J-Diamonds}. The river fell {5-Hearts} making Diaz the winner and vaulting him to 250,000.

Guise, Dunst and Mansour will each earn $8,250 for their performance in this tournament.
