One of the locals playing in today's tournament is none other than Alex "The Lion" Pagulayan. Pagulayan is better known around these parts for his skills on a different kind of felt-covered table -- a billiards table. Pagulayan is a champion nine-ball player, having competed in and won various nine-ball tournaments around the world.

Pagulayan is finding competing in poker tournament a big more difficult. His chip count currently stands at about 4,500 and hasn't been much over the starting stack all day.
