Scott's Bluff Goes Awry

There were 27,000 chips in the pot preflop in a hand contested between Andrew Scott and Kim Tae Hyung. Hyung checked a flop of {9-Hearts} {6-Clubs} {J-Hearts}, then called a bet of 13,000 from Scott. On the turn {4-Spades}, Hyung checked again. Scott made it 26,000 and was called a second time.

The river came down {2-Clubs}. Hyung checked for the third street in a row, prompting Scott to move all in for 98,500.

"Why so much?" asked Hyung. He peeked back at his cards and then said, "Ok, I call."

"Ace high," said Scott. He turned over {A-Hearts} {Q-Clubs}. Hyung tabled {K-Hearts} {J-Diamonds} for top pair and the winner. When the stacks were counted down, Scott was left with 16,000. Hyung is now on 270,000.
