Peter Rho has the button. He folds. Elliot Smith raises to 300,000 from the small blind and is called by Stewart Scott out of the big blind. It's another flop of all small cards, {5-Diamonds}

. Both players check to the turn, which falls {9-Diamonds}

. Again they both check. The river is the {7-Clubs}

. Smith tanks for more than a minute before betting 500,000. Scott is now faced with what looks like a difficult decision, something we haven't seen today. He eventually calls and is shown {Q-Clubs}

by Smith, a rivered pair of sevens. Scott quietly mucks.

Scott was all smiles a half hour ago, but he has lost a few million chips to Smith over the last few orbits. This thing isn't over yet.

Stewart Scott has the button. He raises to 250,000 and Peter Rho calls out of the small blind. Elliot Smith calls from the big blind as well. The flop is {9-Hearts}

and it is checked around. The {10-Hearts}

lands on the turn and its checked to Scott. He bets 475,000 and gets Rho to fold, but Smith makes the call. The river is a scary {Q-Hearts}

and both players check. Smith reveals {J-Spades}

and Scott sends his hand into the muck.

Hand #173 - Stewart Scott

Elliot Smith has the button. He limps into the pot, as does Stewart Scott. Peter Rho checks in the big blind, producing a three-handed flop of {5-Diamonds}

. Scott checks to Rho, who bets 150,000. Smith doesn't want any part of that board, but Scott sure does. He check-raises to 600,000, once again using his stack to turn the screws on his two opponents. Rho quickly releases.

Scott decides to open his hand, showing {8-Diamonds}
