Rawiller Goes Wild

Brad Rawiller has just catapulted to the top of the leaderboard after a recent three-way pot that sent John Dalton to the rail.

Dalton opened the pot with a raise to 20,000 and Jeff Putt flat-called. Action then made its way around to Rawiller who kicked it up to 60,000. Dalton then moved all in for a total of 82,500 and Putt made the call.

Rawiller then attempted to move all in but wasn't allowed as the previous bet amount was less than half the one before it, so he was forced to just call.

The flop came down {Q-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts} and Putt checked to Rawiller, who moved all in. Putt let go of his hand, and a showdown ensued between Rawiller and Dalton:

Rawiller - {A-Hearts}{A-Spades}
Dalton - {5-Hearts}{5-Clubs}

Putt told the table he folded pocket kings.

The turn and river blanked out {3-Diamonds}, {2-Hearts} and Rawiller's aces reigned supreme to take down the pot.

Rawiller is now sitting with 350,000 in chips, Putt with 215,000 and Dalton is out in 89th place ($2,286 AUD).

Lost in the Woods

From early position, Mitchell Carle looks down at {A-Spades}{A-Diamonds} and opens with a raise to 20,000. Action then folds around to Barry Woods who three-bets to 55,000. Carle then moves all in for a total of 180,500 and Woods makes the call, setting up a preflop heads-up showdown:

Woods - {A-Clubs}{K-Clubs}
Carle - {A-Spades}{A-Diamonds}

The ensuing board runs out {6-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{7-Spades}{K-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} and Carle's aces hold up to win the 365,000 pot. Woods was left with just under 200,000 in chips after the hand.

Minesony Mauled

Chris 'Minesony' Evans and Vince Larosa have both been recently eliminated.

Evans and Trung Tran took a flop of {9-Clubs}{7-Spades}{4-Hearts}; Trung check-called Evans' all-in shove, tabling {q-?}{9-?} and outkicking Evans who tabled {j-Spades}{9-Spades}.

The turn of the {5-Spades} gave some hope, but the river {10-Diamonds} sealed Evans' fate.

Man-ny Down

In an all in preflop hand, Manny Rodrigues pushed his remaining 50,000 in the middle and was called by Mark Saber. Rodrigues tabled {10-Hearts} {10-Diamonds} and Saber showed {K-Hearts}{Q-Hearts}.

The board ran out {k-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} sending Rodrigues to the rail. Saber added to his chip collection and now sits with 140,000.

Marster of the Universe

Shortly after Mitchell Carle blew past the 300,000 mark in chips, he dropped back down to 250,000 after butting heads with Tim Marsters.

The money found the middle before the flop; Marsters' with queens and Carle's with tens.

The board filled out {K-Spades}{J-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{9-Clubs} by the turn, providing quite the sweat for Marsters, as Carle had outs for a straight and a flush with the ten of clubs.

The river blanked -- {4-Hearts} -- and Marsters' queens held up to win the pot, kicking him up to 260,000 in chips.

Carle was left with 247,000 after the confrontation.

Adios Larosa

Vince Larosa has just been busted, courtesy of Vic Thornton.

Larosa moved all in for 70,000 from under the gun preflop, only to see Thornton reshove for 150,000 from middle position. The others got out of the way and the cards were tabled:

Thornton: {k-Spades}{k-Clubs}
Larosa: {k-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}

The board of {10-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{7-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{a-Clubs} improved neither hand. Larosa leaves the Crown Poker Room with cash in hand; Thornton has 200,000 in chips.

Tooth-Picking It Up

Mario Zulj must have thought he was about to be doubled up when he put his remaining 40,000 in the pot preflop with {k-Diamonds}{k-Hearts} against the {j-Clubs}{j-Spades} of Antonis "Toothpick Tony" Kambouroglou.

The {8-Spades}{a-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} flop and the {5-Diamonds} turn weren't disastrous for Zulj, but it was the river that brought the storm when the {j-Hearts} fell. Zulj was sent packing while Toothpick Tony picked up the pot bringing his stack to 170,000.

Care for More Carle?

We hope so, cause that's what you're about to get. Carle is now sitting with right around 440,000 in chips after a recent four-way pot.

Carle opened the pot with a raise to 20,000 from middle position. Jarred Graham made the call, as did both blinds.

All four players checked the {2-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{8-Spades} flop and the turn brought the {Q-Spades}.

Here, action was checked to Carle who led out with a 45,000 bet. The small blind was the lone caller and the two went heads-up to the river -- {5-Diamonds}.

The small blind then tanked for quite some time, before firing a 55,000 bet. Carle made the call and the small blind turned over {K-Clubs}{J-Spades} for nothing but a busted straight draw.

Carle tabled {K-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds} for top pair, king kicker, which was more than enough to earn him the pot.

Hachem Loves The Ladies

Tony Hachem raised preflop to 22,000, prompting a series of folds from all of his opponents. He flashed pocket queens and sadly said, "No one wants to play with me." He then took the queens and tried to slide them back under his stack of chips for the next hand. No luck there, and the dealer snatched the cards away for a shuffle.
