Saab Motors On

David Saab raised from the cut-off to 3,000 with the small blind calling.

The flop of {10-Spades} {2-Spades} {5-Hearts} saw the small blind lead out for 6,000. Saab called before they checked down the {6-Spades} and {K-Diamonds} river.

The small blind turned over {A-Clubs} {Q-Diamonds}, losing out to Saab's {5-Spades} {3-Clubs}, the latter is up to 52,000.

Dong Done in Double Ding

An opponent in early position moved all in before Jonathan "xMONSTERxDONGx" Karamalikis re-shoved over the top from from the cutoff. The action folded around to Billy Seri who called from the small blind.

Seri: {a-Clubs}{j-Clubs}
Karamalikis: {a-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}
Opponent: {k-Clubs}{10-Clubs}

The board ran out {8-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{q-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} - Karamalikis and the opponent now have a chance to get to know eachother over a beer at the Las Vegas Bar while Seri takes a stack of 55,000 into the last break of the day.

Don't Count Your Chickens...

Andrew Demetriou just got a quick lesson in counting your chickens before they've hatched.

Demetriou found himself in a race after moving all in preflop for 30,000 and getting called by Brent Thomas.

Thomas had {A-Spades}{k-Spades} against the {Q-Diamonds}{q-Hearts} of Demetriou. The {8-Spades}{3-Hearts}{k-Clubs} meant that Thomas paired his King taking the lead, but Demtriou improved to a set on the {Q-Spades} turn.

He promptly began celebrating thinking he had the hand won. He missed the fact that Thomas was now drawing to a flush, and it promptly hit on the river {2-Spades}.

The river certainly threw water on Demetriou's celebration flames, as he hit the rail. Thomas continues to build a good stack.

Kaselias KO'ed

"Iraqi" Nick Kaselias was spotted heading to the exits and we were able to get some information off David Saab.

Kaselias moved the last of his money into the middle with {K-?}{Q-?}, only to see Saab call him down with {a-?}{2-?}, with the board improving neither hand.

Walsh Winged

Lisa Walsh has been eliminated by Bruce Nguyen.

Walsh moved in with {a-Hearts}{4-Clubs} and Nguyen called with {k-Hearts}{10-Spades}. The {a-Spades}{5-Spades}{2-Clubs} flop made it look like Walsh was going to double through, but Nguyen caught runner runner two pair on the {k-Diamonds} turn and {10-Diamonds} river to send Walsh packing.
