Neilson Needs A New Watch

Andrew "BalugaWhale" Seidman is taking timeout from the players party, and is on the rail of the final table.

"You don't have a watch?" said Seidman to Neilson.

"Nope" came the reply from Neilson.

"All of the real Aussie pros have nice watches," said Seidman. "You need to buy one man".

Stecker's Trap Fails

Mike Stecker tried to trap Daniel Neilson.

Preflop, Neilson made it 24,000 and both Kristian Lunardi on the button and Stecker in the big blind called.

They took a {3-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{a-Spades} flop. Stecker checked and Neilson led 46,000. Lunardi took his leave, but Stecker called.

They both checked the {j-Hearts} turn. On the river {5-Hearts} Stecker checked and Neilson checked behind quickly.

"Straight," said Stecker, as he rolled over {A-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}. Neilson mucked.

Stecker Stumps Neilson

Preflop, Mike Stecker opened the button to 24,000 with Daniel Neilson making the call from the small blind.

They both checked the {A-Hearts}{Q-Spades}{k-Clubs} flop and on the turn {4-Clubs} Stecker bet out 18,500 which Neilson check-called.

The river was the {4-Hearts} and Neilson checked again. Stecker bet 42,000 and after thinking a moment Neilson called.

Stecker showed {A-Diamonds}{7-Spades} for two pair and Neilson mucked.

Stecker moves up to 397,000, Neilson drops to 900,000.

Feeling Out Process

Since the break only one hand has taken a flop, and we're yet to see a turn. With the players so deep, it's going to take some coolers or more time to get the chips in the middle.

Damon Lum Eliminated in 5th Place ($31,850 AUD)

Damon Lum has been eliminated by Daniel Neilson in a battle of the blinds.

Action folded to Lum in the small blind, who raised to 22,000. Neilson asked for a count on Lum, and then popped him back to 61,000.

Lum almost instantly moved all in back, and Neilson called almost as quickly.

Lum: {4-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}
Neilson: {8-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}

"Four ball one time", came the call from Lum. It would be Neilson who would ship the justice, with the {8-Clubs}{10-Spades}{7-Diamonds} flop. The {5-Hearts} left Lum hoping for a rivered straight.

Again no dice. The {9-Spades} hit the river. Lum is done. Neilson is back into the chip lead.
