Lewis Fires All The Way

Stud

Toby Lewis completed showing the {J-Clubs} and fired every street against his one caller, the latter eventually mucking on 7th.

Lewis: (X X) {J-Clubs} {2-Clubs} {9-Clubs} {5-Clubs} (X)
Opponent: (X X) {9-Diamonds} {J-Diamonds} {5-Diamonds} {3-Spades} (X)

Lewis has recovered and now has nearly 20,000.

Blooming

Hold'em

Tony Bloom has rolled up to 15,000 in chips.

In his latest hand Bloom called an opening raise from the button and went heads up to a {k-Clubs}{7-Spades}{4-Hearts} flop.

Bloom fired out after a check from his opponent. The opponent called and the turn was the {2-Spades}. The turn was a carbon copy of the flop, except it was for a big bet and not a small one. The river {j-Clubs} had both players check and Bloom showed down his {A-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}, good for the pot against his opponent who apparently mucked "King-Ten".

Holdem? Omaha? Who Cares, Get It In!

A slightly bizarre hand involving Eric Assadourian who raised thinking it was Hold'em after he got only two cards before getting reraised behind him by someone who also thought they were still playing hold'em.

Despite this, the two still managed to get their chips in on the flop of {7-Spades} {4-Hearts} {2-Clubs}...

Assadourian: {A-Clubs} {3-Diamonds} {5-Clubs} {10-Hearts}
Opponent: {A-Hearts} {A-Diamonds} {7-Diamonds} {7-Hearts}

Although his opponent had the current nuts, Assadourian already had the nut low with a wrap for a 7-out freeroll. The turn {10-Diamonds} and river {2-Diamonds} changed nothing though meaning Assadourian is still shortish at the moment.

Kerry Stead Eliminated

Omaha-8

Kerry Stead has been eliminated after calling down for the last of his chips.

The board ran out {6-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{A-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{4-Hearts} with Stead flat calling bets on the flop, turn and begrudgingly on the river.

He then mucked his hand and headed for the exit upon seeing his opponent's {6-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}.

Judah Splits and Eliminates an Opponent

Omaha-8

Mel Judah recently added some chips to his stack, playing a role in eliminating an opponent in the process. We caught action on the turn with the board reading {6-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}.

The small blind had just led out for a bet and action was on Judah who decided to raise. A third player on the button made the call and then the small blind moved all in. Judah also called for a tiny bit more, and the button called covering both.

Judah: {A-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{5-Spades}
Small Blind: {8-Spades}{5-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{2-Spades}
Button: {A-Spades}{7-Spades}{2-Clubs}{10-Clubs}

The small blind hit the rail, with Judah and the button sharing the loot.

Lewis is on a Boat

Stud

Danny Mountt: {X X}{3-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{X}
Toby Lewis: {X X}{8-Hearts}{10-Spades}{2-Clubs}{2-Spades}{X}
John Joannou: {X X}{6-Spades}{a-Spades}{5-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{X}

Toby Lewis has taken a nice pot from John Joannou and Danny Mountt. On third street Mountt led with a bet and both Lewis and Joannou called. They checked around fourth and fifth street, with Joannou leading the action on the sixth street. Mountt and Lewis decided to both stay in for seventh street and called.

Joannou once again led the action in the final round of betting, but was quickly raised by Lewis. This was enough to get Mountt out of the hand, but Joannou called.

Lewis tabled {8-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} for a full house, while Joannou just had trip sixes.
