Phil Ivey had the button and raised to 40,000. Jonathan "xMONSTERxDONGx" Karamalikis reraised to 105,000 from the big blind. Ivey folded and Karamalikis increased to 525,000.

Shak Doubles Back

Dan Shak just survived an all-in confrontation to stay alive in the tournament. His opponent was young gun Jonathan "xMONSTERxDONGx" Karamalikis.

Karamalikis raised the pot from the small blind with only Shak left to act in the big blind. Shak reraised all in for 150,000 total and Karamalikis called.

The board ran out {K-Clubs} {Q-Spades} {6-Clubs} {2-Spades} {J-Diamonds} and Shak was able to doubled back to 300,000. Karamalikis was left with 375,000 after the hand.

After the hand, tournament director Mike Tarr announced that there was about 15 minutes left until the break. "We can all go for a bike ride!" said Tony G with a big grin on his face.

Phil IVey raised to 40,000 preflop and Jonathan "xMONSTERxDONGx" Karamalikis called from the big blind. The flop came down {10-Hearts} {9-Spades} {2-Clubs}. Karamalikis checked and Ivey bet 50,000. Karamalikis called.

The turn was the {4-Spades} and Karamalikis checked. Ivey bet 145,000 nod Karamalikis went into the tank. He tossed in one of his time-break chips and took extra time to verify Ivey's stack size. Then, he moved all in. Ivey quickly called.

The river card was a blank and Karamalikis was crippled to just 16,000 chips. Ivey stormed to 700,000.

Tony G raised to 35,000, Karamalikis called all in for 16,000 and Dan Shak called the raise.

Barry Greenstein's stack dwindled to just about 55,000 after getting his kings crushed. He moved all in from under the gun and Tony Bloom made the call.

This time, it would be Greenstein needing to crack the kings.

The flop, turn and river were the {8-Spades} {6-Hearts} {4-Clubs} {2-Diamonds} {7-Hearts} and Greenstein was sent to the rail. He signed his book Ace On the River and handed it to Bloom before exiting the tournament to a standing ovation from the crowd. The remaining five players are now in the money.

Billy Jordanou raised to 45,000 from the button and Phil Ivey reraised the pot from the small blind. Tony Bloom called in the big blind and Jordanou folded.

The flop came down {6-Clubs} {3-Clubs} {2-Clubs} and Ivey checked. Bloom fired a big bet of what looked to be 200,000 and Ivey folded.
