David Benyamine Eliminated in 3rd Place ($1,100,000)

Level 12 : 15,000/30,000, 4,000 ante

In a few prelim hands before the big one:

Sam Trickett made it 60,000 to go on the button, and Erik Seidel moved all in getting both players to fold like cheetahs.

Erik Seidel made it 65,000 to go from the button, and the blinds both folded.

David Benyamine made it 70,000 to go from the button and both blinds folded.

The main event? Here it is:

Sam Trickett made it 60,000 from the button, and David Benyamine called.

The flop came {10-Spades}{a-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}, and Benyamine checked to Trickett, who bet 85,000. Benyamine raised it up, making it 235,000 total. Trickett, not wanting to relent made the call.

The turn was the {a-Spades}, and Benyamine bet 300,000. Trickett peaked at his cards again, while he pondered what to do. Finally he time-banked, giving himself a little bit more time before, wait for it, time-banking again with his last "time" chip. When he finally acted he moved all-in, getting an instant call.

Sam Trickett: {a-Hearts}{4-Spades}
David Benyamine: {a-Clubs}{6-Clubs}

It was looking good for a chop, but this is poker, and this is also Sam Trickett. We mean, the man basically owns high-rollers here in Melbourne. The river? Well, yea… it was the {4-Hearts}.

David Benyamine has been eliminated, giving the majority of the chips in play to Sam Trickett about 4.196 million worth.
