Ben Delaney did what he did best and opened from the cutoff with a raise. Leo Boxell made the call from the button, so it was heads-up to a flop of 
. Delaney fired out a bet of 30,000 and Boxell made the call.
The turn brought the 
and again Delaney took the lead with a bet of 70,000. Boxell didn't ponder the decision for long and again made the call. The 
fell on the river and Delaney decided to slow down, this time checking to Boxell.
Boxell slip out a full stack of yellow-chips totaling 100,000. Delaney frustratingly open mucked 
for a counterfeited two pair as Leo Boxell raked in the pot. Boxell moved up to 660,000 in chips while Delaney now has the fewest chips with only 180,000.
Holy Smokes!

Though the action between the final may be lukewarm, things got a little heated all of a sudden (and it was unpleasant, we might add, but we stress that it wasn't between the players).
Earlier, Waki Waki raised to 24,500 from under the gun and the action folded around to Kosta Varoxis who called from the small blind before the both checked the flop of 
. Varoxis then fired out 32,000 on the turn of the 
and Waki quickly folded.
A short time later, we saw Leo Boxell, Varoxis and Waki check down a flop of 
before Boxell opened for 40,000 on the turn of the 
. Waki was the only caller and then Boxell check-folded after Waki bet on the river of the {9h).
The action was then interrupted for some time after a strong burning smell permeated the Crown Poker Room. The players all jumped out of their seats, thinking that something was on fire beneath them, but as it turned out, apparently there was a bin fire upstairs. Play was able to resume shortly after everyone had settled down.
Delaney Drops

Ben Delaney has slipped to less than 350,000 in chips after losing pots to Simon Charette, Kosta Varoxis and Leo Boxell.
Charette raised to 22,000 from under the gun and Delaney called from the button to go heads-up to a flop of 
. Charette bet 32,500 and Delaney called before folding to Charette's second barrel of 55,500 on the turn of the .
"I wish, I wish I had checked!" Charette lamented as he flashed 
for what would have only been the nuts.
In the very next hand, Delaney raised to 20,000 from the button and Varoxis called from the big blind before both players checked all the way down the board of 
. Delaney showed but Varoxis' 
was good.
Then we caught action between Delaney and Leo Boxell on a flop that read 
; Delaney opened for 30,000 and Boxell called before both players checked the turn of the . Delaney checked on the river of the , but folded after Boxell quickly fired out a bet.
Boxell is up over 470,000, while Varoxis climbs to 235,000.

Simon Charette has been the most active at this final table over the last hour and while he's taken one pot off Waki Waki, he lost one soon after to Ben Delaney.
The action folded around to Charette who raised to 30,000 from the small blind; Waki called from the big blind, then both players checked the flop of 
before Charette led out for 27,000 on the turn of the 
. Waki wasn't interested and he let his hand go.
In the very next hand, Charette raised to 22,500 from the cutoff; Delaney was the only caller from the small blind, but both players elected to check the flop of 
before Delaney check-called Charette's bet of 27,000 on the turn of the .
Both players then checked down the river of the and Delaney showed which was good enough to take the pot down. Delaney moves up to 405,000, Charette is holding steady at 740,000 and Waki is down to 442,000.

With the blinds creeping up even further, the action is beginning to pick up at this final table and with each pot played, we're starting to see the tension build up amongst the remaining five players.
Earlier, the action folded around to Leo Boxell who min-raised to 16,000 from the small blind before Kosta Varoxis called from the big blind to see a flop of 
. Boxell led out for 30,000 and Varoxis called, but he folded after Boxell fired out 60,000 on the turn of the .
Boxell flashed before sending his hand into the muck. "Thanks for the show, Leo!" Varoxis exclaimed.
A short time later, Ben Delaney min-raised to 16,000 from the button and found one caller in the form of Simon Charette from the big blind. Charette then check-folded after Delaney's bet of 22,000 on the flop of .
Boxell is up to 410,000 and Delaney moves to 440,000 while Varoxis slips to 225,000. Charette is down too, but still our leader with 675,000.

Josh Tekesky Eliminated in 6th Place (AUD $20,250)

Josh Tekesky started the day as the overall chipleader, but he's just been banished in sixth place, good for AUD $20,250.
Earlier, Tekesky raised to 16,500 from under the gun before Kosta Varoxis reraised to 40,000. The action folded back around to Tekesky, who moved all-in. Varoxis snap-called, tabling 
and Tekesky looked sick as he revealed 
.
The board ran out 
and after the chips were cut down, Varoxis was deemed the shorter of the two stacks, so he doubled through, leaving Tekesky with just 19,000 in chips which were shipped into the middle in the very next hand after a raise by Varoxis and a reraise all-in from Waki Waki.
Varoxis opened-folded 
, but breathed a sigh of relief after Waki showed down , which were miles ahead of Tekesky's 
. The board 
and Tekesky was done for the day.
Waki is now up to 470,000 while Varoxis now holds 268,000.
Where's the Heart?

Simon Charette raised the button to 18,500 and got two callers in the form of Waki Waki and Ben Delaney out of the blinds.
On the flop of , Waki grabbed some chips as if he was going to bet, but instead started shuffling them before finally decided to check. Delaney and Charette were worried about being check-raised, so they opted to check behind.
The turn brought yet another heart in the , this time Waki Waki seemed happier to check, Delaney contemplated a bet, but also decided to check, and Charette followed the lead.
The river brought the , and for the third time, the action was checked around. "I don't have a heart," Delaney said.
"Neither do I," Charette replied. Waki slammed down 
as if it were the nuts. "I have a ten though," Charette said and tabled and Delaney simply mucked.
Charette is our clear chip leader at the moment with more than 700,000.
