Ellis and Lewis Eliminated

Level 13 : 1,200/2,400, 300 ante

The field has now been reduced to 15 players after the eliminations of Toby Lewis and Ray Ellis.

Lewis was first crippled by Ben Delaney after attempting to fire three barrels at him on all streets across the board of {3-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{4-Clubs} before shoving on the river. Delaney called, his {K-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}, ahead of Lewis' {K-Spades}{10-Spades}.

Down to just 30,000 in chips, Delaney open-shoved from the button with {9-Hearts}{7-Clubs}, but Andrew Jeffreys woke up in the blinds with {A-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}, which improved to two pair on the board of {2-Spades}{10-Clubs}{3-Spades}{A-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}, sending Lewis to the rail in 17th place (AUD $5,400).

He was soon joined by Ray Ellis, who had moved the last of his short stack into the middle before the flop with {Q-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}, but ran into Josh Tekesky's {A-Spades}{A-Diamonds} and was busted in 16th place (AUD $5,400), which held all the way down the board of {8-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{10-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{2-Spades}.
