Jarred Solomon Eliminated in 7th Place (AUD$13,000)

Level 20 : 6,000/12,000, 1,000 ante
Jarred Solomon - 7th Place
Jarred Solomon - 7th Place

Jarred Solomon missed the first hand back from the break, and now he is going to wish he missed the second hand as well.

Folded to Solomon in the cutoff seat he would raise to 27,000. Martin Kozlov was on the button and he would elect to three-bet to 59,000. The blinds got out of the way and the action was back on Solomon.

Solomon thought for some time before shoving his stack. Kozlov would snap-call and Solomon would see his tournament life at risk.

Solomon: {a-Clubs}{q-Clubs}
Kozlov: {a-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}

By the time the board had ran out {7-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{4-Clubs} there would be a sweat for Solomon, needing a club to stay alive and double-up. But it wasn't meant to be as the river bricked the {8-Spades}.

Solomon glanced down at the stacks, making sure Kozlov definitely had him covered and when sure he made his way to the rail. Kozlov now has over 1,000,000 and has a dominating chip lead at the table.

Solomon adds AUD$13,000 in prizemoney to his already successful Aussie Millions after taking down a gold ring earlier in the series.

Mount Kozlov

Level 20 : 6,000/12,000, 1,000 ante

Martin Kozlov now has an over 1,000,000 deep stack and sits with almost 50% of all the chips in play.

Since then he has showed relentless aggression and no players have played back at him. He continues to add blinds and antes to his growing mountain of chips.

Lindy Thornton Eliminated in 6th Place (AUD$16,000)

Level 20 : 6,000/12,000, 1,000 ante
Lindy Thornton - 6th Place
Lindy Thornton - 6th Place

Gerasimos Deres raised to 26,000 from middle position, and in the cutoff, Lindy Thornton moved all in for just a hair over 100,000. Deres called to flip with her.

Thornton: {k-Spades}{q-Hearts}
Deres: {4-Hearts}{4-Clubs}

Thornton's day was pretty much over after the {j-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} flop made Deres a set. She was drawing dead when the {3-} on the turn ended the chance for a runner-runner rescue. Deres is up to 490,000.

Judah Jousting Chips

Level 20 : 6,000/12,000, 1,000 ante

Mel Judah started the day as the short stack and has played much of the final table thus far, as the players seeming to be the next bust out, but he won't go that easy.

Judah shoved from early position and both Shao Liu and Gerasimos Deres made the call from the blinds.

The board would run out {8-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{k-Spades}{6-Hearts}{j-Spades} with Liu and Deres' electing to check it all the way.

Deres' and Liu both announced they had ace-high while Judah tabled {10-Clubs}{k-Clubs} to take down the pot and triple up.

Slow Going

Level 21 : 8,000/16,000, 1,000 ante

Action is hard to come by at the moment. The last orbit saw two walks and an open-limped small blind. The short stacks don't seem willing to play for the chips in the middle with anything less than a premium hand, and the big stacks are content to take it easy and let them blind away.

Level: 21

Blinds: 8,000/16,000

Ante: 1,000

Count It

Level 21 : 8,000/16,000, 1,000 ante

Folded to Jai Kemp in the small blind, he would raise it to 36,000 and Shao Liu would make the call in the big blind.

Flop: {9-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{6-Clubs}

Kemp would lead out for 36,000 and liu would quickly move allin.

A count would be asked and it would be revealed that Liu had around a 100,000 more behind. Kemp insta-mucked at this number and Liu took down the pot.

Two Orbits 'o Fun

Level 21 : 8,000/16,000, 1,000 ante

1) Mel Judah raised under the gun and took it down.

2) Shao Liu raised his button, and both blinds folded.

3) Jai Kemp raised under the gun and won the blinds and antes.

4) Kemp got a walk.

5) Gerasimos Deres raised under the gun and went uncontested.

6) Second verse, same as the first. Judah raised under the gun and won the money in the middle.

7) Martin Kozlov raised and took it.

8) Kozlov got a walk.

9) Judah raised on the button, and the blinds folded.

10) Kozlov raised his button and won.

Last Bounty Standing

Level 21 : 8,000/16,000, 1,000 ante

In case you've noticed that the title of this event has the word "bounties" in it, Mel Judah is the only player with a bounty on his head to make the final table. Eliminating him is worth an extra $1,000, but that doesn't seem to be figuring into the decision-making process.

Shao Liu Eliminated in 5th Place (AUD$24,000)

Level 21 : 8,000/16,000, 1,000 ante
Shao Liu - 5th Place
Shao Liu - 5th Place

When play folded around to Shao Liu in the small blind he would move his remaining 180,000 into the middle. It wasn't looking good for Liu as Gerasimos Deres insta-called.

Deres: {a-Spades}{q-Clubs}
Shao Liu: {j-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}

The board ran out {a-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{j-Spades}{5-Hearts}{9-Clubs}, both making their pair but Deres of course taking the pot and eliminating Liu.

Liu goes home in 5th place, taking home AUD$24,000 and leaving the final table four-handed.
