Bloom Edges Out Further

Level 10 : 6,000/12,000, 0 ante

David Benyamine limped in from the small blind only to have Tony Bloom pot the action to 36,000 total. Benyamine made the call and checked the {10-Clubs}{J-Spades}{K-Diamonds} flop as Bloom pushed out a 35,000-chip bet.

Benyamine used half of his time bank before folding as Bloom continued to edge out the gap between him and his opponents.

Benyamine Jack'd

Level 10 : 6,000/12,000, 0 ante

David Benyamine limped the cutoff only to have Sam Trickett raise it up from the small blind to 36,000.

Benyamine made the call as both players checked the {8-Clubs}{Q-Spades}{8-Diamonds} flop before the {10-Diamonds} landed on the turn.

Trickett lead with a delayed continuation-bet for 49,000 only to have Benyamine make it 100,000 straight.

Trickett called as both players checked the {2-Hearts} on the river.

Trickett tabled his {J-Hearts}{J-Clubs}, but it would be Benyamine's {Q-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} for a better two-pair that would see him collect the pot.

Chop, Chop

Level 10 : 6,000/12,000, 0 ante

David Steicke opened to 40,000 from under the gun and David Benyamine made the call next to act as the flop landed {4-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}{J-Spades}.

Steicke fired out a continuation-bet of 70,000 only to be met with a raise from Benyamine amounting to 225,000.

Immediately Steicke pushed his remaining chips into the pot as the cards were tabled.

Steicke: {A-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}
Benyamine: {A-Spades}{Q-Spades}

With Benyamine free-rolling to a backdoor flush, the turn and river of the {8-Diamonds} and {2-Hearts} would ensure that the pot was chopped up.

How Many Dealers We Got?

Level 10 : 6,000/12,000, 0 ante

With a little more space on the table, the Aussie Millions staff have decided to use two dealers instead of the usual one.

At the moment it seems that one is only shuffling, while the other remains the sole dealer.

More hands. More coolers. And maybe a shorter day!

Flush Over Flush to Give Bloom Chip Lead

Level 10 : 6,000/12,000, 0 ante

From the button, Tony Bloom raised to 25,000. He found two callers from the blinds; Sam Trickett called in the small blind and James Obst called in the big blind. The flop came down paired and with two clubs, {10-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}. Trickett was up first and checked. Obst followed suit and then Bloom fired a continuation bet worth 45,000. After a tiny bit, Trickett check-raised to 90,000 and that prompted a fold from Obst. Bloom took some time and then made the call.

The {Q-Clubs} that rolled off on the turn added a third club to the board and completed a flush draw. Trickett, out of position, bet out 135,000. Bloom sat for a little bit while the clock counted down. He used up nearly all of his allotted 30 seconds before announcing that he was all in. When he did that, Trickett leaned back, eyed Bloom's stack momentarily and then made the call.

Bloom tabled the {J-Clubs}{9-Clubs} for a flush and that was bad news for Trickett, who held the {8-Clubs}{7-Clubs}. Trickett couldn't even hit a straight flush as Bloom held the {9-Clubs} blocker.

The river completed the board with the {A-Hearts} and ended the hand officially. Bloom was all in on the turn for 393,000 and Trickett sent over the chips. He dropped back to 981,000 and has given up the chip lead to Bloom, who now has 1.041 million.

Benyamine Flops It Full

Level 9 : 5,000/10,000, 0 ante

Sam Trickett opened to 24,000 and found callers in Jeffrey Lisandro and David Benyamine from the cutoff and big blind respectively.

The {6-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{5-Spades} flop was checked through to see the {2-Clubs} land on the turn and a bet of 30,000 follow from Lisandro. Benyamine made the call as Trickett passed before the {A-Diamonds} landed on the river.

Benyamine took the lead by firing out a bet of 93,000 to put Lisandro to a decision.

"Got the {A-Clubs} David?" asked Lisandro.

"{A-Clubs}{J-Clubs}?" he added before making the call.

Benyamine didn't have the hands Lisandro thought, but instead tabled his {6-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} for a flopped full house to collect the pot and move to 490,000 in chips.
