Gorr Increases His lead

Level 25 : 30,000/60,000, 5,000 ante

Hand #124: David Gorr had the button to start the hand. Jeff Rossiter was under the gun and raised to 140,000. Everyone folded and he won the pot.

Hand #125: David Gorr raised from under the gun to 130,000. Jeff Rossiter called from the big blind and the flop came down {K-Spades}{4-Clubs}{2-Hearts}. Both players checked.

The turn card brought the {7-Diamonds} and Rossiter bet 125,000. "I raise," said Gorr before making it 325,000. Rossiter folded and Gorr won the pot.

Keys Takes One from Gorr

Level 25 : 30,000/60,000, 5,000 ante

Hand #121: David Gorr opened to 130,000 and collected the blinds and antes.

Hand #122: Jeff Rossiter made it 160,000 from the small blind and forced a fold from David Gorr in the big blind.

Hand #123: James Keys entered the pot with a raise to 130,000 from under the gun and David Gorr made it 230,000 to go from the small blind.

As the action returned to Keys, he made the call to see a {8-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{K-Clubs} flop land and a check from Gorr follow before Keys made it 240,000 to go.

Gorr passed, and Keys collected the pot.

Raise, Fold, Raise, Fold

Level 25 : 30,000/60,000, 5,000 ante

Hand #116: From under the gun, Jeff Rossiter opened to 140,000 and easily captured the blinds and antes.

Hand #117: The action folded to James Keys in the small blind and he bumped it up to 170,000 to snag the big blind and antes.

Hand #118: Michael Ryan opened to 130,000 from under the gun and collected the blinds and antes.

Hand #119: James Keys opened to 130,000 from under the gun and - as expected - collected the 110,000 in dead money.

Hand #120: From the small blind, Michael Ryan made it 130,000 to go with James Keys defending his big blind.

The {4-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{Q-Clubs} flop saw Ryan lead for 275,000 with Keys kicking his cards to the muck.

Deep Play

Level 25 : 30,000/60,000, 5,000 ante

Right now, the average chip stack of 3.605 million is just over 60 big blinds deep. That means we could be here for a while.

Hats off to the Crown tournament staff for incorporating two dealers into action in order to speed things up. Two dealers working and two-hour levels with deep stacks should allow for some very creative play if these players choose to mix things up.

Sevens Are Better Than Twos

Level 25 : 30,000/60,000, 5,000 ante

Hand #108: From the button, David Gorr raised to 200,000. Everyone folded.

Hand #109: Jeff Rossiter got a walk in the big blind.

Hand #110: James Keys raised from the button to 130,000, not mis-clicking this time. Everyone folded and he won the pot.

Hand #111: Jeff Rossiter raised to 140,000. Michael Ryan called from the big blind and the flop came down {A-Spades}{7-Clubs}{3-Spades}. Ryan led out for 200,000 and Rossiter folded.

Hand #112: Jeff Rossiter raised preflop for the second hand in a row. He made it 140,000 from under the gun. Everyone folded and he won the pot.

Hand #113: David Gorr raised to 130,000. He was under the gun and action folded to Jeff Rossiter in the big blind. He three-bet to 360,000 and won the pot.

Hand #114: Michael Ryan raised to 130,000 from under the gun to win the blinds and antes.

Hand #115: Action folded to David Gorr in the small blind and he raised to 130,000. Michael Ryan called from the big blind and would have position for the entire hand.

The flop came down {9-Spades}{7-Spades}{2-Diamonds} and both players checked to see the {A-Diamonds} fall on the turn. Both checked again and the {K-Clubs} fell on the river. Gorr checked and Ryan checked.

Gorr tabled the {10-Hearts}{2-Hearts} for a pair of twos. Ryan showed the {8-Spades}{7-Diamonds} for a pair of sevens. Sevens are greater than twos and Ryan won the pot.

Mis-Click for Keys

Level 25 : 30,000/60,000, 5,000 ante

Hand #107: James Keys opened to 240,000 from the cutoff.

"Was that a mis-click?" asked Jeff Rossiter referring to his 4-big blind open.

A laughing Keys stated yes, but it would be Michael Ryan who would be the most happiest at his mis-click as he moved all in for 1,375,000 from the big blind to force a fold from Keys.
