Day 2 Started

$1,650 NLH Bounties Day 2

Welcome back for the Feature Event: $1,650 NLH Bounties. The remaining 32 players (from 315) come back today and one will walk away with the title, $119,500, and a gold ring.

The format yesterday was a straight freeze-out, but things have been mixed up a little for today. We move over to a shootout format for remaining four tables. The draw has been seeded according to chip counts and each table will play until two players remain. It's Go Time

Level 15 : 1,500/3,000, 300 ante

The bounties event was put on hold as the entire Crown Poker Room kicked off the Main Event. Joe Hachem introduced the event as past champions were on hand to celebrate the start of the 10th Anniversary of the Aussie Millions.

Now that the dust has settled, the shootout portion of the bounties event is underway!

How It Will Work

Level 15 : 1,500/3,000, 300 ante

The remaining 32 players have returned to 4 tables of 8. Each player is in the money, with 7th-8th place at each table making a min-cash and then 6th-5th, 4th and 3rd earning cash on a sliding scale.

The shootout tables will cease once 2 players remain, with 2 players from each table heading to the final table of 8. The tables were organized according to chip count with a seeded redraw. The tables can be seen in the post below.

Sent to the Old Bailey

It took a cooler to get rid of Eugene Juczenko in 31st place. Michal Polchlopek opened from the button before Juczenko three-bet from the small blind and Harry Demetriou four-bet all-in from the big blind. Polchlopek folded but Juczenko made the call all-in.

Juczenko : {j-Diamonds}{j-Spades}
Demetriou: {a-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}

The board ran {5-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{q-Hearts}{2-Spades}.

There seemed to be genuine sympathy for Bailey a the set-up in front of his eyes.

Two Down to Next Payout

Vesko Zmukic was unlucky to run his {q-}{j-} into the {k-}{k-} of James Obst and when the board brought no help, Zmukic was sent home as Table 18 has 6 players remaining and are down to their next payout level. Obst also picked up $1,000 for knocking out Zmukic as he was one of the remaining bounties.

Table 15 also recently lost a player, with Clemens Manzano biting the dust and leaving Table 15 with 6 players.
