Gift of Chips for Wade

Level 4 : 100/200, 0 ante

Just before the break Tristan Wade was gifted some chips by his neighbor. We picked up the action on the {4-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{6-Spades} flop where Wade was facing a 525-chip bet. His response was to raise enough to put his opponent all-in for his remaining 3,100. He took a while before calling with {8-Hearts}{4-Clubs} for second pair. Wade tabled {q-Diamonds}{q-Hearts} and faded any nasty out to move up to 13,000 in chips.

Around The Tables

Level 3 : 75/150, 0 ante

Here's a quick look at what's happening around the tables as of right now!

Bounty player Joeseph Cheong’s table has got tougher with Joe Elpaya and Jamie Pickering taking seats.

Ben Jenkins has been eliminated by the bounty at this table and is busy telling his sob story to a friend.

Maria Ho and McClean Karr have taken seats at Jason Koon’s table. They’ll be hunting his bounty, for sure, but he has position on them both.

Jack Ellwood was staring into space for over a minute until he realised the action was on him in a three-way pot. He checked and then folded to river bet to drop to 8,000 chips.

JP Kelly has also taken his seat as a bounty player. A quick look on twitter tells us that Kelly has yet to win a hand.

Aces for Wade

Recent World Series of Poker Europe gold bracelet winner Tristan Wade was in action on the {A-Spades}{K-Hearts}{J-Hearts} flop against one other player. Wade was in position and fired a bet of 500 after his opponent checked. The player made the call an the dealer turned the {3-Clubs}. Following a check, Wade fired 1,075. His opponent quickly called.

The river card was the {10-Hearts} and completed the board. That card brought in a lot of possible draws and the first player checked. Wade took a few moments and then checked behind.

Wade showed the {A-Hearts}{A-Diamonds} for top set of aces. His opponent showed the losing {K-Clubs}{J-Clubs} and the pot went Wade's way.

Cohen Five-Bets Preflop

After one player limped in and another player raised to 550, action folded to Sam Cohen in the small blind. She reraised to 1,150. Play folded back over to the original raiser and he four-bet to 2,275. Cohen snap-shoved all in for around 10,000 and her opponent quickly mucked.

Noteworthy Bust Outs

We caught Jackie Glazier and Matthew Pearson discussing their respective bust outs from behind the rail. We were able to gather info on how Pearson exited.

Pearson opened the button with {J-}{2-} and found a caller in the big blind. Pearson was excited to see a flop of {J-Spades}{10-}{2-Spades}, and proceeded to get all his chips in only to find his opponent had {10-}{10-}. He couldn't catch up from there and was eliminated.
