Trickett Wins One

Level 11 : 12,000/24,000, 3,000 ante

Action folded to Sam Trickett in the small blind, and he raised to 60,000. Fabian Quoss made the call from the big blind, and the flop came down {J-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{4-Spades}. Trickett bet 35,000, and Quoss called.

The turn was the {6-Clubs}, and both players checked. They also checked the {6-Hearts} on the river.

Trickett revealed what looked to be the {10-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} to give him two pair, tens and sixes. The cards weren't shown on the television screen where we're set up for blogging purposes, but from what we could tell, that's what Trickett held. Quoss mucked his hand, and Trickett won the pot.

Seidel Surives

Level 11 : 12,000/24,000, 3,000 ante

Erik Seidel just moved all in from the button for 133,000 and Richard Yong called from the small blind.

Yong: {6-Spades}{6-Diamonds}
Seidel: {K-Spades}{9-Spades}

The board ran out {A-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}{J-Spades}{K-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} and Seidel doubled up. The former winner of this event is still the short stack, but he's back in the hunt after hitting a crucial king on the turn.
