"Who Do I Talk to About a Rebuy?"

Level 4 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

That's what Isaac Haxton asked after being eliminated by Martin Finger.

Haxton appeared to get his short stack all in preflop holding the {2-Spades}{2-Diamonds} and was racing against the {a-Hearts}{q-Spades} of Finger. Haxton survived the {k-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} flop, but not the {Q-Diamonds} river. Finger found a lady to take the lead, and he was pushed the pot after the {4-Spades} completed the board on the river.

We expect Haxton will be back in action sooner than later.

Record Field Expected

Level 4 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

With 32 entries already generated in the 2014 Aussie Millions AU$100,000 Challenge, expectations are that this year's field will break the previous record of 38 from 2011 when Sam Trickett won. The tournament staff announced that several more players are expected to show up and participate, including Igor Kurganov, Patrik Antonius, Gus Hansen, and John Juanda.

You also have to factor in Jason Mercier, Sorel Mizzi, Scott Seiver, Jeff Rossiter, and Erik Seidel as late entries. All five of those players are still currently in the Main Event with 18 players remaining.

As Crown's Media Relations Manager Natasha Stipanov put it, "We're just doing what we can."

Haxton Shoves the Flop

Level 3 : 500/1,000, 0 ante

Paul Newey raised from under the gun to 2,500. PokerStars Team Online's Isaac Haxton reraised from the next seat in the hijack position, then Martin Finger called from the cutoff seat. After the button and blinds folded, Newey also called, and the flop came out {J-Spades}{10-Hearts}{7-Hearts}. Newey checked, and Haxton moved all in for 22,000. Finger and Newey folded, giving Haxton the pot.

Esfandiari Busts Polk

Level 3 : 500/1,000, 0 ante

From the button, Doug Polk raised to 2,500. Viktor Blom called from the small blind, and then Antonio Esfandiari reraised to 8,300 from the big blind. Polk then made it 23,200 to go, Blom folded, and Esfandiari shoved. Polk called, and the cards were tabled.

Polk showed the {A-Hearts}{K-Diamonds} and was up against the {J-Clubs}{J-Spades} for Esfandiari.

"Let's see how good I am at tournaments!" cried Polk.

The flop came down {9-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{3-Spades}, and kept Esfandiari in front.

"Well, not too good!" Polk added after seeing the flop.

The turn was the {7-Hearts}, and the river was the {4-Hearts}, both missing Polk. Upon the final count of the chips, Polk was eliminated, and Polk added, soared to over 200,000 in chips.
