White With Decent Start

Level 2 : 75/150, 0 ante

On the table of Van Marcus, Scott White has been very active and that pair off quickly. An opponent got it in with {A-Clubs}{9-Spades} on the flop {9-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}{6-Clubs} only for White to snap him off with {6-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} for bottom set. The board completed with the {10-Clubs} turn and {Q-Clubs} to award the pot to White, who stayed aggressive throughout the next few hands as well.

First his semi-bluff with {5-Clubs}{5-Spades} for 1,200 on the {Q-Hearts}{J-Hearts}{A-Spades}{J-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} river was caught, then he won a pot on the {A-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{3-Spades} turn by betting into the small blind and Marcus in the big blind.

Wilkerson on Board

More than $1.7 million in tournament cashes according to the Hendon Mob, a victory during the WPT in Johannesburg and a second place in the 2014 WPT Bay 101 Shooting Stars highlight the resume of Dylan Wilkerson. The American walked into the tournament room along with Xuan Liu and will try to run up a stack in Down Under, so far three Australian flags are showing for Wilkerson.

Flopping The World

Level 2 : 75/150, 0 ante

Tolly Sakellariou is off to a hot start.

"Just flopping the world," he said. "Representing quads, showing down jack-high and winning."

Apparently he hasn't had any big showdowns, but has up to more than twice what he started with regardless.

Marcus with Decent Start

Level 1 : 50/100, 0 ante

Australian Poker Hall of Famer Van Marcus won a big pot right off the bat and just now got involved in a three-way pot when opening to 250. He got called by two opponents and the trio checked through the flop {A-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}. On the {6-Diamonds} turn, the player in the small blind bet 250 and Marcus raised to 800.

The second opponent called and the small blind folded. The river brought the {10-Hearts} and Marcus check-folded to a bet of 1,500, flashing {A-Spades}{7-Spades}. "And now I get shown a bluff, that's okay," Marcus said to the player in the small blind after the other opponent flashed his {5-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} for a busted flush draw.
