Christian Christner

Kahle Burns raised to 35,000 from the cutoff and Fedor Holz flatted on the button. Christian Christner called out of the big blind and the flop was {6-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{2-Spades}. Christner checked and Burns bet 50,000. Holz folded and Christner called.

The turn was the {8-Spades}. Christner check-called a bet of 100,000 and the river was the {4-Diamonds}. Christner checked and Burns checked back, opening {a-Clubs}{a-Spades} only to be met by the {2-Hearts}{3-Hearts} of Christner who had flopped two pair.

A Double for Salter

Level 11 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

Jan-Eric Schwippert raised to 32,000 and Jack Salter defended his big blind. On a flop of {J-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}, Salter checked and folded to a bet of 36,000 by Schwippert.

Soon after, Salter jammed from the cutoff for 152,000 and Schwippert called in the small blind.

Jack Salter: {6-Spades}{6-Hearts}
Jan-Eric Schwippert: {A-Hearts}{Q-Spades}

The board came {5-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{3-Spades}{9-Hearts}{J-Hearts} and Salter held up to double.

In the next two hands, David Steicke from the small blind and Schwippert from the cutoff moved all in to claim the blinds and antes.

Fedor Holz
Fedor Holz

Down to his last 149,000, Fedor Holz moved all in from the button and Christian Christner looked him up out of the big blind.

Fedor Holz: {5-Hearts}{4-Hearts}
Christian Christner: {Q-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}

The board ran out {A-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{7-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{7-Hearts} and Holz failed to get there on his third bullet to become the first casualty of the day.

Small Pot to Loeser

Level 12 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

Kahle Burns and Jack Salter moved all in to claim the blinds and antes when cards got back underway.

Then, Burns limped in from the small blind and Manig Loeser raided to 65,000 in the big blind. Burns checked the tournament information screen and called after brief consideration before checking the {J-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{2-Clubs} flop. Loeser bet 79,000 and that was all it took to claim the pot.

Steicke Busts to Burns

Level 12 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante
David Steicke
David Steicke

Down to his last 111,000, David Steicke moved all in from the hijack and Kahle Burns on the button moved all in over the top for more than two times of that to isolate successfully.

David Steicke: {A-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}
Kahle Burns: {5-Spades}{5-Diamonds}

The {9-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{2-Spades} flop gave Burns middle set and Steicke needed a three to improve to a straight. It was all over after the {9-Diamonds} turn as Burns filled up to a full house and the meaningless {8-Hearts} river completed the board.

Burns Eliminated by Kanit

Level 12 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante
Kahle Burns
Kahle Burns

On a flop of {6-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{9-Clubs} Mustapha Kanit checked to Kahle Burns who continued for 39,000. Kanit check-raised all in putting Burns to the test. Burns called with {a-Clubs}{9-Hearts} for top pair, but nodded when shown the {q-Spades}{q-Clubs} of Kanit.

The {k-Spades}{8-Clubs} runout didn't help Burns, and he was eliminated from the $100,000 Challenge.

Triple Up for Schwippert

Level 12 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

Mustapha Kanit raised to 45,000 on the button and Jan-Eric Schwippert moved all in from the small blind for 165,000 to force a fold.

The very next hand, Kanit made it 45,000 to go in the cutoff and Schwippert jammed once more, for 245,000 in total this time. Michael Lim called on the button and Manig Loeser in the big blind gave it some thought before going all in over the top. That forced out Kanit and Lim also quickly folded.

Jan-Eric Schwippert: {Q-Spades}{10-Clubs}
Manig Loeser: {A-Spades}{K-Clubs}

The {K-Spades}{10-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} flop provided top pair for Loeser and middle pair for Schwippert, while the latter improved to a runner runner full house thanks to the {10-Diamonds} turn and {Q-Hearts} river in order to more than triple up.
