Toby Lewis

Hand #93: Mike Del Vecchio raised to 200,000 on the button with {K-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} and picked up the blinds.

Hand #94: Espen Solaas opened to 200,000 from under the gun with {A-Hearts}{8-Hearts}. Toby Lewis called on the button with {Q-Clubs}{J-Spades} on the button and Huber got in for a discount from the big blind with {10-Clubs}{2-Clubs}. Huber and Lewis paired up on the {Q-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{2-Diamonds} flop and it was Lewis that bet 250,000. Both Huber and Solaas folded.

Hand #95: Lewis picked up {A-Clubs}{K-Hearts} in the cutoff and made it 200,000. Chun-Hyol Park called with {J-Clubs}{J-Diamonds} on the button and Solaas defended {4-Spades}{3-Spades}. Lewis flopped top pair on {2-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{K-Clubs} and bet 225,000. Park called and Solaas folded.

Another {K-Diamonds} rolled off on the turn. Lewis now bet 650,000 and Park called another street. Lewis' hand became even better on the {A-Diamonds} river and he went for a big valuebet of 2,100,000. Park thought for a while and paid the bet off. Lewis claimed a huge chip lead after the hand, while Park tumbled down to the shortest stack.

Hand #96: Stefan Huber raised to 225,000 on the button with {9-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} and Mike Del Vecchio defended {6-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}. Huber continued 155,000 on the {6-Clubs}{J-Spades}{3-Clubs} flop and Del Vecchio check-called middle pair.

The {4-Clubs} on the turn gave Huber a flush draw and he fired a second bullet of 475,000. Del Vecchio folded his pair and straight draw.

Hand #97: Lewis received a walk.

Hand #98: Solaas limped in from the cutoff with {A-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}, Lewis completed {8-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} and Park checked his option with {Q-Spades}{3-Diamonds}. Solaas bet 100,000 on the {7-Clubs}{6-Spades}{6-Diamonds} flop, Lewis check-raised to 300,000 and Solaas called.

Lewis checked the {9-Spades} on the turn to Solaas, who bet 300,000. Lewis wasn't going anywhere and called. Another check from Lewis on the {Q-Hearts} river. Solaas tried it with a final bet of 750,000 and got it through as Lewis folded.

Hands #88-92: Solaas Turns Trips

Level 29 : 50,000/100,000, 10,000 ante

Hand #88: Toby Lewis with {k-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} and Chul-Hyon Park with {k-Clubs}{3-Clubs} saw the flop of {7-Clubs}{k-Hearts}{2-Hearts} for the minimum in the blinds. Lewis bet 100,000 and Park called. The turn was a {7-Hearts} and Lewis check-called 200,000. They both checked the {8-Spades} and Lewis took it down.

Hand #89: Lewis raised on the button to 200,000 with {3-Clubs}{2-Clubs}. Stefan Huber defended big blind with {a-Diamonds}{9-Spades}. The board read {2-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{k-Hearts}{a-Hearts} on the river after four checks. They checked again and Huber won the showdown with aces.

Hand #90: Lewis raised with {10-Clubs}{10-Hearts} and Espen Solaas defended big blind with {q-Clubs}{7-Hearts}. Solaas check-called 125,000 on the {2-Spades}{a-Spades}{7-Diamonds} flop and turned trips when the {7-Spades} fell. Solaas tanked until a clock was called and then bet 175,000. Lewis called and the {3-Hearts} fell. They both checked and trips took it down.

Hand #91: Huber was dealt {k-Hearts}{k-Spades} and raised to 225,000 on the button. The board read {q-Spades}{q-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{j-Diamonds} and technical issues with the stream made the action impossible to follow but Huber appeared to win a pot of about 1.1 million against Mike Del Vecchio, who had {7-}{7-}.

Hand #92: Huber's turn for {7-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} in the cutoff and he called. Solaas had {k-Spades}{q-Diamonds} on the button and made it 375,000. Huber called in short order and they saw {j-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{a-Spades} flop. A continuation-bet won the pot for Solaas.

Stefan Huber
Stefan Huber

Hand #87: Stefan Huber woke up with {A-Spades}{A-Diamonds} in the cutoff and, like the previous hand, decided to limp in. Mike Del Vecchio completed {K-Spades}{2-Hearts} and Toby Lewis checked {Q-Spades}{7-Diamonds}. The {K-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{J-Spades} flop got checked to Huber, who bet 150,000. Del Vecchio called with top pair and Lewis folded.

Huber fired a second barrel worth 475,000 on the turn and Del Vecchio called another street. On the {A-Clubs} river, Huber shoved all in for 1,095,000 and Del Vecchio paid it off with his pair of kings to give Huber the full double-up. The German rail exploded with a loud "jaaaaaaaaaaaaa" when the hands were tabled.
