Jeff Lisandro is always working on his game. Even though he won a bracelet at the 2007 WSOP, he's been spotted brushing up on his poker studies in between the action. Lisandro has been reading Lee Nelson's latest book, "Kill Everyone."

Damien Oborne Flops The Nuts

Damien Oborne
Damien Oborne
The action folds to Poker News writer Damien Oborne who throws out a single 500 chip from late position. After some confusion, the bet is considered only a call rather than a raise, and both blinds come along to see a cheap flop.

The flop brings {10-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} and the player in the big blind leads for 300. Oborne raises it up to 800 and the big blind makes the call.

The turn is the {J-Spades} and both players check. The river lands the {5-Spades} and Oborne tosses 1,000 in the pot and is quickly called. Oborne flips over {Q-Clubs}{J-Diamonds} for the straight which is too good for his opponent's pair of jacks. Oborne is progressing well and now has close to 10,000 in chips.

Emad Tahtouh Takes A Hit

With the board showing {A-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{A-Spades}{J-Hearts}{9-Spades} Emad made a quick call on the river against his opponent's all in bet. However Emad wasn't happy to see his opponent flip over {A-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} for the full house. Emad grumbled about the river before flashing the {A-Hearts} and mucking his hand in disgust.

Emad is now down to around 18,000 chips.

Anna Wroblewski Up to 14K

Anna Wroblewski
A middle position player opened the pot for 450 and Anna Wroblewski called. The flop was {J-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{3-Spades}. Wroblewski's opponent led out for 800 on the flop and she made the call. The turn was the {7-Hearts}, making Wroblewski's straight. Fortunately for Anna, her opponent moved all in and she insta-called, showing the nuts to his {Q-Clubs}{Q-Spades}. She's now up to over 14,000 in chips.

Gary Benson Doubles Up

On a board of {A-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}, Gary Benson moved all in on the river and his opponent insta-called for his tournament life, tabling {K-Spades}{J-Hearts}. Benson, though had turned trips with his measly {3-Clubs}{5-Clubs} and dragged a huge pot, doubling his stack to 7,000.
