He hosted weekly events and the winners of each of those events qualified for the Tournament of Champions (TOC), with the winner of that winning a seat to the Aussie Millions.
That fortunate blogger who won the TOC happened to be Eric "jeciimd" Chadwick. He's a doctor in his normal life and took some time off from his work in Pennsylvania to play in the Aussie Millions main event.
On a flop of , Grant Levy checked, Daniel Zink bet 1,200, Levy raised to 3,500 and Zink called. The turn was the . Levy bet 10,000, sending Zink into the tank. After having the clock called on him, Zink announced "all in" and Levy immediately called. Zink showed and needed some serious help against Levy's set of fives. Full Tilt Poker qualifier Andrew Laetchford had possibly one of the worst table draws today, landing at the TV feature table. Surrounded by Allen Cunningham, Matt Sexton, Jimmy "Gobboboy" Fricke, Raymond Rahme, Lee Watkinson, and Gary Benson, the Englishman admitted to us that his table is "a little scary." So far, he's holding his own and is up to 23,000 in chips.
On a board reading , Raymond Rahme bet 2,000, Allen Cunningham raised to 10,000, Rahme moved all in and Cunningham called for his remaining 11,000. Rahme showed for top pair, but Cunningham held for the nut flush and doubled up to 22,000.
Six players limped into the pot and Andy Bloch bumped it up from the big blind, making it 1,600 to go. Amnon Filippi called from under-the-gun before the player in seat 9 decided to go all in for his last 8,650. The action passes back to Bloch who insta-calls while Filippi steps aside.
Bloch flipped over and seemed to be very confident that his hand was good as his opponent sheepishly revealed .
The flop was virtually enough for Bloch as it arrived giving Bloch a set. The turn and river came and Bloch adds the nice pot to his growing stack.
