The Unabomber Busts Shannon Elizabeth

Mansion Poker's Shannon Elizabeth
Mansion Poker's Shannon Elizabeth
A short-stacked (7,000) Shannon Elizabeth got it all in pre-flop holding pocket sevens against Phil Laak's pocket aces. Elizabeth, playing today for Mansion Poker, would need to spike a seven to crack Laak's aces, but the {A-Hearts}{6-Spades}{6-Hearts} flop virtually locked up the hand for the man they call the Unabomber. The turn and river came {10-Hearts}, {2-Hearts} and Elizabeth was sent to the rail early in the second level of the day.

Jason Potter raised 600 from the button. Nicholas Voyatzis called from the big blind. The flop was {K-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{5-Spades}. Voyatzis checked. Potter bet 1,500. Voyatzis check-raised 5,000. Potter moved all in for 19,500. Voyatzis called.

Michael Wolf Calls Paul Wasicka's Bluff

Team PokerNews Player Michael Wolf
Team PokerNews Player Michael Wolf
Holding {Q-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}, and with the board showing {4-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{10-Hearts}, 2006 WSOP Main Event runner-up Paul Wasicka fired a bet that he hoped would chase Team PokerNews player Michael Wolf out of the pot. Instead of folding, however, Wolf moved all in on the strength of a set of fours and Wasicka, pot-committed, made the call.

The river blanked ({5-Diamonds}), and Wolf scooped up the 34,000 pot. Wasicka was left with 7,600 after the hand.

Sol Bergren Cracks Aces

Getting pocket Aces snapped off is tough to stomach, but getting them cracked by pocket Kings is brutal. Bergren held {K-Hearts}{K-Clubs} and flopped a set to topple Michael Pedley's {A-Clubs}{A-Hearts}. Bergren increased his stack to 34,200 while Pedley slipped to 7,000.
