Jedlicka Triples Up

Online superstar and one of the newest members of Team Full Tilt Niki "KaiBuxxe" Jedlicka has just tripled up in an incredible three-way all in battle.

Unfortunately we missed the betting action, but Jedlicka somehow managed to rake the pot with nothing but a pair of queens with an ace kicker.

Celebrity/Media Tournament

A quick climb up a small flight of stairs from the PLO tournament will take you to the Celebrity/Media Tournament which just got underway. A heap of local celebrities, athletes, poker professionals and media outlets from all over the world have gathered to put their poker skills to work for charity.

PokerNews is being represented by blogger Heath Chick (aardvark17), field reporters Dave King, Brendan Duffy and Shane Beckham, along with a guy we call 'Schecky.'

Jedlicka Eliminated

Team Full Tilt member Niki 'KaiBuxxe' Jedlicka has just been eliminated from the tournament by well-known poker pro Eli Elezra.

Jedlicka led out with a 1,500 all in bet on a {7-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}{3-Spades} flop and was called by both Elezra and Steve Zolotow, who checked down the turn ({10-Clubs}) and river ({9-Spades}). At the showdown, Elezra tabled {10-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{K-Diamonds}{J-Hearts} for a jack-high straight which was good enough to take down the pot and eliminated Jedlicka from the tournament.

Bloom Drops a Pot to Bart

Tony Bloom
Tony Bloom
British Pro and former Aussie Millions Champion Tony Bloom found himself seeing a flop of {2-Hearts}{10-Spades}{8-Clubs} against Fred Bart.

Bloom fired 3,300 and Bart called. The turn brought the {7-Spades} and Bloom fires again with a bet of 6,000. This is enough to put Bart all in and he makes the call.

Bloom: {A-Spades}{A-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{Q-Spades}
Bart: {J-Clubs}{8-Spades}{10-Hearts}{A-Hearts}

Bart held the lead with two pair and improved to a full house with the {10-Clubs} on the river to drop Bloom down to around 11,000 chips.
