"Tilt Call" Turns to Gold

There was a discrepancy with the pre-flop action on the table of Kevin "BeL0WaB0Ve" Saul and a tournament director was called over to make a ruling. It is believed that it was ruled that Saul would have to leave 1,500 in the pot and, since another player had raised, he needed to bet an additional 5,500 to see a flop. Obviously unhappy with this ruling, Saul made what he described as a "tilt call".

With 25,000 in the pot before the flop had been dealt, Steve Zolotow moved his last 3,000 in the middle in the dark as the cards landed {A-Clubs}

. Saul and Warwick Mirzikinian also got it all in.

Mirzikinian held {7-Diamonds}

for top two pair, and Saul was going to need lots of help with his {9-Diamonds}

. The turn landed {9-Spades}

and the river made his gutshot with the {4-Diamonds}

. In a bizarre hand, a reluctant Saul took down the monster pot. We didn't get a chance to see the cards of Zolotow but he couldn't better Saul's straight and was eliminated from today's event.
