Ivens Doubles Through Wang; Nguyen Doubles Through Weissman

Level 22 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Todd Ivens doubled up through Michael Wang when his ace-jack out-flopped the ace-king of Wang in a preflop all-in confrontation.

At the next table over, Albert Nguyen doubled through Joey Weissman after getting it in on a flop of {8-Spades}{3-Hearts}{4-Hearts}. Nguyen held {k-Diamonds}{k-Clubs} to be far in front of the {j-Spades}{j-Clubs} of Weissman and the runout of {5-Clubs}{5-Hearts} didn't change things.

Level 22 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante
Ryan Shinevare
Ryan Shinevare

Ryan Shinevare open-shoved a stack of 370,000 from the hijack and Noel Rodriguez called out of the big blind.

Ryan Shinevare: {k-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}
Noel Rodriguez: {a-Clubs}{8-Spades}

The flop came {k-Spades}{q-Hearts}{j-Spades} to give Shinevare a massive lead with two pair, though the {a-Hearts} on the turn gave Rodriguez some hope. The {8-Diamonds} peeled off on the river to give Rodriguez a better two pair as those at the table gasped in disbelief.

"Oh geez!" reacted Zachary Donovan as Shinevare hit the rail in 11th place.

Action folded to Steve Bayyouk in the small blind and he jammed for 600,000. Zachary Donovan in the big blind quickly called.

BetMGM Poker qualifier Bayyouk grimaced when his oppponent put his chips into the middle. "I was only trying to steal," he said.

Steve Bayyouk: {10-Clubs}{6-Spades}
Zachary Donovan: {k-Spades}{q-Diamonds}

Bayyouk was unable to connect and was ousted from the event after the {j-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{q-Clubs} runout.

Weissman Takes from Hoefer

Level 22 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Paul Hoefer had just won a big pot when he got paid with jacks full in a hand against Albert Nguyen. Shortly after, Hoefer opened in middle position and Joey Weissman three-bet from the button. Hoefer called.

Hoefer checked on the flop of {5-Spades}{5-Hearts}{a-Hearts} and Weissman bet 70,000. Hoefer called. Hoefer check-called again on the {10-Clubs} turn when his opponent sized up to 290,000.

Hoefer checked once more on the {4-Spades} river and Weissman took a moment before announcing a big bet of 685,000. Hoefer gave it some thought and slid his hand to the muck.

Just as Shankar Pillai bust, Nick Sena-Hopkins moved all in from the button for 265,000. Albert Nguyen called from the small blind.

Nick Sena-Hopkins: {7-Spades}{7-Hearts}
Albert Nguyen: {k-Hearts}{9-Hearts}

The pair of sevens were still in front following the {6-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{4-Hearts} flop but Nguyen added flush outs to his overcards. The {8-Clubs} turn was a brick but the {q-Hearts} river gave Nguyen the flush to send out Sena-Hopkins in 13th Place

Shankar Pillai

With 250,000 in the middle on the {9-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{2-Clubs} flop, Noel Rodriguez bet 85,000 from the small blind. Shankar Pillau called from the big blind.

Pillai called another bet of 130,000 on the {7-Clubs} turn.

Rodriguez then moved all in as the covering stack on the {j-Hearts} river. Pillai would go into the tank, using up all his remaining time extensions before deciding to call for his tournament life.

Rodriguez tabled his {a-Clubs}{a-Spades} for the nut flush while Pillai had the {q-Clubs}{8-Hearts}. Pillai then exited the PokerGO Studio in 14th place.

Kevin Rabichow Eliminated in 15th Place ($16,464)

Level 22 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante
Kevin Rabichow
Kevin Rabichow

Michael Wang opened to 50,000 from the hijack and William McCracken flat-called from the button, while Kevin Rabichow also called from the big blind.

Rabichow checked on the flop of {7-Spades}{9-Hearts}{7-Clubs} and Wang bet 80,000. McCracken folded and Rabichow moved all-in for around 180,000. Wang quickly called.

Kevin Rabichow: {q-Spades}{7-Diamonds}
Michael Wang: {j-Clubs}{10-Clubs}

Rabichow was far in front with trips but Wang had outs with a gutshot and a backdoor flush draw. Rabichow let out a small groan when the {8-Clubs} peeled off on the turn for Wang to bink his gutshot, and the {3-Spades} on the river didn't improve Rabichow's hand.

"Did you think of a card in your head?!" someone at the table asked Wang as Rabichow left the tournament in 15th place.
