Joseph Mullins the Ladies Man

Level 13 : 1,200/2,400, 300 ante

We saw Joseph Mullins celebrate with a fist pump after the river card was dealt, and after heading over to take a look, it turned out he had tripled up in a confrontation of pocket pairs.

The final board read {4-Spades}{2-Spades}{j-Hearts}{6-Spades}{3-Hearts} and Mullins had the {Q-Hearts}{Q-Clubs} displayed in front of his 15,000 or so remaining chips.

The two other players in the pot held {8-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} and {9-Diamonds}{9-Spades}, with the owner of the nines doubling through the player with snowmen. Mullins had them both beat though, and he now sits with just under 20 big blinds late on Day 1b.
