Back and Forth

Level 24 : 12,000/24,000, 3,000 ante

In what appeared to be a three-bet pot, Kevin Saul led out for 67,000 o a flop of {10-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{3-Clubs}. Jeff Madsen called.

The turn was the {6-Clubs}, Saul fired out another 98,000, and Madsen made the call.

The river was the man with the ax ({k-Diamonds}), Saul bet 135,000, and Madsen reached into his stack. He cut out enough chips to make the call, shot a glance at Saul, and called.

Saul rolled over {q-Clubs}{10-Clubs} for a pair of tens, and dragged the pot.

The next hand, Saul limped in on the button, Madsen checked, and the dealer fanned {6-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{a-Clubs}. Madsen check-called a bet of 28,000, the turn was the {q-Spades}, and Madsen checked again. Saul fired 55,000, Madsen check-raised to 205,000, and Saul folded.
