Csik Gets There

Level 2 : 75/150, 0 ante

Chris Csik, Chris Tryba, and a third player took a flop of {8-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}. Csik led out for 750, his two opponents called, and the turn was the {5-Clubs}.

Csik tossed out another 2,500, this time only Tryba called, and the river was the {6-Diamonds}, Csik emptied the chamber, firing a third and final bullet worth 5,500, and Tryba again called. Csik revealed {a-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} - much to this dismay of Tryba - and raked in the pot.

Brian Lemke
Brian Lemke

Brian Lemke checked on a flop of {4-Hearts}{k-Hearts}{9-Spades}, a player on his left tossed out 2,500, two players folded, and the action was back on Lemke. He called.

The turn was the {j-Spades}, both players checked, and the river was the {9-Clubs}. Lemke decided to lead out, firing 7,000, and his opponent made the call.

Lemke mucked, and the player wanted to muck the winner as well, but was forced to show {q-Diamonds}{q-Spades}.

Richey Sets 'Em Up

Level 3 : 100/200, 0 ante

Brett Richey and Tom Dobrilovic were heads up on a board of {8-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{a-Clubs}{q-Hearts}. Richey had what looked like a pot-sized bet in front of him, and Dobrilovic, the winner of Event 3, tanked for a minute or so before calling.

Richey revealed, {8-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} for a set, and Dobrilovic mucked.

"Nice hand," he told Richey, who is up to 52,000 chips.
