Chad Brown Eliminated in 26th Place ($17,357)

Chad Brown - 26th Place ($17,357)
Chad Brown - 26th Place ($17,357)

Chad Brown's last 400,000 or so went into the middle and Jared Jaffee looked him up with one of the biggest stacks at the table.

Jaffe was out in front with {A-Clubs}{j-Clubs} and Brown would need help with {k-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}.

The board rolled out {j-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{q-Hearts} to give Jaffe the win, and Brown made his way to the payout desk for a 26th place finish.

Peter Hong - 25th Place ($17,357)
Peter Hong - 25th Place ($17,357)

Peter Hong went for the three-bet shove and put his last 430,000 into the middle, coming over the top of Kalyan Gullapalli's early position open to 70,000.

Gullapalli called the bet with {5-Spades}{5-Clubs} and he was flipping against Hong's {k-Spades}{q-Spades}.

When the flop fell {a-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{4-Hearts} Gullapalli jumped out to a huge lead with a flopped set of fives, and the {6-Clubs} on the turn cinched the win. Hong hit the rail in 25th place and took home $17,357 for the deep run.

Onofrio Reina Eliminated in 24th Place ($17,357)

Onofrio Reina - Eliminated in 24th Place
Onofrio Reina - Eliminated in 24th Place

Onofrio Reina made his stand from the hijack, moving all in for his last 373,000 only to see John Dibella call off his last 367,000 as well from the cutoff.

Eric Wasserson had both players covered and he called out of the big blind, forcing a three-way reveal.

Showdown:

Eric Wasserson: {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}
Onofrio Reina: {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}
John Dibella: {9-Clubs}{9-Hearts}

Dibella had the best of it and his opponent's shared outs, leaving only two aces and two kings in the deck to work with. The final board brought none of them to the table though, coming {q-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} to give Dibella a set and the scoop.

Onofrio was crippled with the loss, left with just an ante or two, and despite multiplying those chips by six with an all-in win, Reina hit the rail a few hands later in 24th place.

Naveh Morris - 23rd Place ($17,537)

Naveh Morris open-shoved for his last 486,000 from under the gun, with Michael Arrington calling off his 421,000 stack from the button. The table folded around and the at-risk players revealed the cards that forced the clash.

Showdown:

Arrington: {A-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}
Morris: {A-Clubs}{q-Hearts}

Morris was dominated by Arrington's king kicker, and he stayed that way through the {5-Spades}{4-Spades}{2-Spades}{8-Hearts}{8-Spades} runout. Morris was crippled on this hand and succumbed to Justin Lunin-Pack just one deal later. He hit the rail in 23rd place and took home $17,357 for the impressive run through this tough championship field.

Faraz Jaka Eliminated in 22nd Place ($17,357)

Faraz Jaka - 22nd Place ($17,357)
Faraz Jaka - 22nd Place ($17,357)

Faraz Jaka found the {q-}{j-} on the button and made the minimum raise. When Anthony Maio went for the three-bet pressure play from the big blind, Jaka decided to four-bet shove for his last 720,000. Maio snap-called with {k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds} and Jaka was in bad shape with queen-high against two kings. He managed to improve on the {q-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} board, but his top pair was second-best, sending Jaka to the rail with a 22nd place finish.

Here is Jaka's succinct postmortem of the hand, courtesy of his recent post-bust tweet.

Byron Kaverman Eliminated in 21st Place ($17,357)

Byron Kaverman - 21st Place ($17,357)
Byron Kaverman - 21st Place ($17,357)

Byron Kaverman opened the betting for a 65,000 raise from under the gun, and chip leader Farid Jattin came along from the hijack.

After the dealer fanned the {10-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{7-Hearts} flop, Kaverman c-bet for 77,000, only to see Jattin raise the action up to 256,000.

Kaverman tanked for about three minutes while working through whatever it is the game's wizards think about during these intense moments, and after a lengthy period of thought he three-bet to 439,000. Jattin took some time to think as well, but after just thirty seconds or so he moved all in, putting Kaverman to the test.

This development left Kaverman looking displeased with the spot he found himself in, but eventually he called off for his last 1 million or so and tabled {8-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} for an up-and-down straight draw.

Despite all of the aggression he displayed in the raising war, Jattin only held {a-Spades}{j-Diamonds} for a no-pair hand, and Kaverman now held thirteen outs when he may have been drawing dead. The added lifelines failed to save him though, as the board bricked out on fourth street ({3-Clubs}) and fifth ({10-Clubs}).

Kaverman hit the rail in 21st place for a $17,357 score, while Jattin strengthened his chip lead to over 6 million.

John Dibella Eliminated in 20th Place ($17,357)

John Dibella - 20th Place ($17,357)
John Dibella - 20th Place ($17,357)

John Dibella was riding a short stack and he moved his last 247,000 into the middle from the small blind, coming over the top of Kunal Patel's 65,000 button raise.

Patel wasted no time in calling the vulnerable player's small all-in wager, and he tabled {k-Clubs}{7-Spades} as he did so. Dibella was out in front with his {a-Clubs}{j-Hearts}, but Patel's live cards came through on the {5-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{10-Clubs} flop. Patel's pair of sevens put Dibella on the brink, and the turn ({6-Diamonds}) and river ({2-Diamonds}) failed to bring him back.

Dibella finished in 20th place and collected a $17,357 payout for the deep run.
