Stashin Shoves the River on Volpe

Level 14 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

There was a flop that showed {k-Spades}{j-Clubs}{6-Hearts} on the board and the pot contained 55,000. Paul Volpe led out, putting 18,500 into the middle and Michael Stashin quickly called.

A {7-Diamonds} peeled off on the turn and both players then checked to the {10-Diamonds} river card. Volpe tapped the table and Stashin moved his 54,000 stack in the middle.

Volpe folded, Stashin showed his cards to the player next to him as he mucked his hand. Volpe asked what he had and Stashin said ace-nine as he stacked the chips.

Siddiqui Climbs Through Javier

Level 13 : 1,500/2,500, 2,500 ante

The turned board showed {k-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{3-Spades}{7-Clubs} and there was around 95,000 in the pot. Action checked to Kevin Javier, he bet 45,500 and only Faisal Siddiqui called to see the {a-Clubs} river card.

Both players checked the river, Javier showed {a-Spades}{j-Spades} for a rivered pair of aces after missing his flush draw and Siddiqui tabled {k-Hearts}{7-Hearts}, giving him two pair.

"You have no idea how happy I was when you checked the river," Said Siddiqui as he scooped in the pot.
