Zaki Finds a Double

Level 7 : 300/600, 600 ante
Justin Zaki
Justin Zaki

We caught up to the heads up action on the {k-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} flop. The player first to act bet 2,800 into the main pot of about 5,000 and Justin Zaki raised to 7,900.

His opponent called and the dealer burned and turned the {9-Hearts}. The player checked and Zaki tossed out a bet of 12,000.

His opponent check-raised all in and Zaki snap-called for his last 25,700.

Justin Zaki: {8-Hearts}{6-Hearts}
Opponent: {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs}

Zaki showed two pair and a flush draw and he was in great shape to double up against his opponent's big slick. The {7-Hearts} completed the board and Zaki improved to a flush to earn the pot and the double up.

Nguyen Finds an Early Double

Level 4 : 200/300, 300 ante
Kenny Nguyen
Kenny Nguyen

The board read {a-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}{3-Spades}{3-Clubs}{k-Hearts} and there was about 28,800 in the pot. Kenny Nguyen led out for a bet of 5,000 and his opponent instantly moved all in for more than enough to cover Nguyen.

After a couple of minutes, Nguyen called for his 31,200 stack and his opponent tabled {a-Hearts}{j-Diamonds} for two pair with a jack kicker. Nguyen slammed over {a-Spades}{q-Clubs} for the same two pair but a higher kicker as he took down the pot for a complete double.
