The second WPT BPO Championship flight is in the books and it was Shiraz Hasan bagging the big stack of 227,500. That is a little behind Mukharji Uppalapati, who finished as the Day 1a chip leader Sunday night with 252,400.
Day 1b attracted 707 runners which along with 1a's 271 brings the current field up to 978 with registration and re-entry will remain open until the start of Level 11 or approximately 2:15 p.m.
Others to make it through Flight B were Henry Tran (213,500), Brian Altman (187,500), Daniel Weinman (186,700), Nick Pupillo (144,600), Luke Vrabel (95,000), and Aaron Massey (93,000).
Approximately 500 survivors from the two starting will return to the Event Center on Tuesday, September 17 at 12 p.m. for Day 2 action.
A full list of day two chip counts and seating assignments will be posted before the start of play.
