Eriquezzo Doubles Before Break

In one of the last hands before the break Ryan Eriquezzo raised to 2,500 from under the gun. The player next to act re-raised to 8,500 and the player in the small blind called.

With the action back on Eriquezzo he made it 35,000. The under the gun player jammed for about 110,000 and the small blind folded.

Eriquezzo snap called turning over {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds} and his opponent showed {q-Clubs}{q-Hearts}.

The board ran out {j-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{3-Spades}{2-Clubs} and Eriquezzo's pocket aces held up to earn him the massive double. The two time WSOP bracelet winner is cruising and approaching the quarter million chip mark.

Action checked to the button player who bet 23,000 and Yaraliyev folded. Lee called and the {7-Clubs} completed the board. Both players checked, Lee tabled {q-Diamonds}{q-Clubs} and his opponent quickly mucked, shipping the pot to Lee.

There's still plenty of time to get in on the day 1b Almighty Stack action. Day 1b tournament registration and re-entry will remain open until the start of level 13 or approximately 11:45 PM.
