The $25,000 Guaranteed Black Chip Bounty tournament is underway in the Event Center. This crowd will continue to grow through the next five-plus hours of late registration and re-entries.
Today's one day post-lim trophy event is Event #24: $440 Black Chip Bounty NLH and it carries a $25,000 Guarantee on total buy-ins.
Players start with 25,000 chips and there is an optional dealer toke $5 add-on to get 5,000 extra chips. All levels are 30 minutes long and late registration and unlimited re-entry are possible until the start of Level 11 (about 4:45 p.m.). Each player has a $100 bounty on their tournament life — their black chip bounty goes to the player who takes their last tournament chip.
There is no defending champion since this is a new event on the Winter schedule. This event first appeared during the 2019 Fall Poker Open last November and it drew 126 entrants for a prize pool of $36,666. First place and $10,816 (not including bounties) went to Bryan Neira
