Udornpim Takes the Lead

Level 20 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Jonathan Gilliam opened from the button, Nitis Udornpim shoved in the big blind for 965,000 and Gilliam quickly called, putting Udornpim at risk.

Nitis Udornpim: {k-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}
Jonathan Gilliam: {7-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}

The board came down {q-Hearts}{9-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{8-Hearts} and Udornpim's turned straight pulled in the pot, leaving Gilliam with crumbs.

Jonathan Dokler opened to 100,000 from the hijack, Jonathan Gilliam called his last 85,000 all in from the cutoff and Anton Wigg called in the big blind, creating a side pot.

The dealer spread out {k-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{6-Clubs} on the flop and both players then checked to the {k-Clubs} turn card. Wigg tapped to Dokler, he bet 50,000 and Wigg called to see the {j-Hearts} river card.

Action checked to Dokler, he bet 200,000 and Wigg quickly folded, sending the side to Dokler. Gilliam tabled {k-Spades}{2-Spades} for three cowboys but it was not enough as Dokler showed his {j-Spades}{j-Clubs}, giving him a rivered boat, sending Gilliam out the door.

Robert Brobyn Eliminated in 5th Place ($28,009)

The turned board read {q-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{6-Spades} and there was around 550,000 in the pot when Robert Brobyn checked to Jonathan Dokler who bet 285,000.

Brobyn check-raised all in, totaling about 1,000,000 and Dokler snap-called, tabling {10-Spades}{10-Clubs} for a set. Brobyn looked surprised as he turned over {10-Hearts}{9-Clubs}, giving him a pair with a straight draw.

The {2-Diamonds} river missed Brobyn and he was eliminated by the red-hot Dokler.

Anton Wigg moved all in for about 1,125,000 from the cutoff and Jonathan Dokler quickly called on the button, putting the start of the day chipleader at risk.

Anton Wigg: {k-Diamonds}{j-Spades}
Jonathan Dokler: {a-Spades}{a-Clubs}

The flop came down {a-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{2-Clubs}, giving Dokler a boat and could no longer win the hand. A {10-Spades} shut down any hopes of a split pot and Wigg was then drawing dead to the {q-Diamonds} river, being sent home in fourth place by Dokler who now has an overwhelming chip lead.
