Per Lindholm traveled from Sweden to attend his first Cash Game Festival. The Swede is a ski and bicycle technician by trade and like most attending the festival loves to play poker. He heard about the event from his good friend and Cash Game Festival regular Daniel Näsman and the timing and atmosphere worked out well for Lindholm to see what the buzz is all about.

"I heard about the Cash Game Festival from Daniel," said Lindholm. "I came because it was close to Italy and for a good time and to play poker. It is also always good to get some sun and meet other people in a social setting that have the same poker interests that I do."

Lindholm, aged 29, has been playing for more than half his life or 15 years. He shared that he got his start playing home games with friends. Despite him playing for so long, he has only recently been taking the game more seriously.

"I have been playing a lot more the past two years," Lindholm said.

Lindholm started off on the television table hot. He claimed that he approaches playing under the lights and cameras just like he would any other game. However, this doesn't mean he won't get anything out of being on the feature table.

"I look forward to watch myself on the stream on my way home," said Lindholm. "It will be nice to see how I reacted towards other people."

What Lindholm says makes tons of sense, especially if you aren't altering your game. Being able to take a step back and analyze how you play in a live setting is often difficult and appearing on a feature table is one way to analyze your own play and self-improve.

Lindholm had a decent start to the festival, but not every day was a winning day. How he performs today will determine whether he goes home notching up a festival win or loss.

"I started the festival off well, as you can see on the first televised table I was on Day 1," said Lindholm. "I won a little more on Day 2, however, gave a bit back on Day 3. However, I am planning to play a bit today and that will determine whether I win or lose on the trip since I am leaving on Sunday at noon."

It is easy to see that LIndholm is having a blast at the Cash Game Festival. He confirmed this was true, however, a big change coming up in his life will prevent him from attending another festival until at least the summer.

"I am enjoying the festival, however, this is my busy season work-wise," Lindholm shared. "More importantly, I am having my first child, which I am not sure how it will change the way I look at my free time. I am definitely keen on attending a Cash Game Festival during the summer, provided that I can get away."
