Day: 5

Welcome to Day 5 of the 2017 Cash Game Festival Tallinn

Welcome to Day 5 of the 2017 Cash Game Festival Tallinn at Olympic Park Casino.

For a handful of players, Day 4 never ended. At the time of writing this, there is still a table running from yesterday with players admitting they have been playing for at least the past 24 hours.

Others were grinding until the early hours before they decided to get some rest before heading back to the casino for a full day of a cash game grind.

Players with the hospitality package were in for a treat earlier in the day. Cash Game Festival Project Manager Andro Loos, who makes sure everything runs smoothly throughout every festival, took the crew to the Estonian Maritime Museum.

This unique structure was built 100 years ago when the country was occupied by the Russians as a seaplane hanger. The Estonian used it for the same purpose during their independence from around the time the first World War ended and 1940 when the Soviet Union took control of the facility.

The Soviets used the facility at that time for mostly storage and let the building dilapidate. It was not in great shape when Estonia became an independent country until it was recently restored and transformed into a unique museum.

The tour guide explained a bit of the history along with some of the different sea craft used over the years.

As is always the case during the Cash Game Festival, there will be two feature tables hosting by Brandon Allen.

The first table kicks off at 5:40 p.m. EEST (7:40 p.m. BST) and will be streamed on a 20-minute delay with stakes at €1/€2 no-limit hold'em on the Cash Game Festival Twitch channel and across multiple media outlets including PokerNews.

Later in the day, there will also be a higher-stakes no-limit hold'em televised feature table on a 20-minute delay at 8:40 p.m. EEST (6:40 p.m. BST).

Stay tuned as the PokerNews Live Reporting updates on who the biggest winners were and other happenings on the final day of the Cash Game Festival Tallinn.
