Will Vladimir Demidov's Lead for the Trophy Hold on the Final Day of the Cash Game Festival Bratislava
Welcome to the final day of the Cash Game Festival Bratislava at Banco Casino Bratislava. The festival has been a huge success with records broken both for the casino and the festival.
The day began for some in the poker room with a €5/€5 pot-limit Omaha table still running from the evening before. Among the players in the marathon game is none other than Cash Game Festival Dublin champion Kevin Malone.
For others, the day kicked off with a guided city tour of Bratislava which promises to include "refreshing beer."
As has been the case throughout the five-day festival, the entertaining British young guns Henry Kilbane and George Sandford will once again host the two televised feature tables at 6 p.m. CEST and 9 p.m CEST broadcasted on a 20-minute delay at the Cash Game Festival Twitch channel. You can alternatively follow the action by clicking on the Live Stream tab that will be in our PokerNews coverage once the action is live.
The early feature table will be a fun with stakes at €1/€2 no-limit hold'em. Among the players confirmed are Cash Game Festival regulars Monika "HeyMonia" Zukowicz and Ed Furniss. Teresa Clark, a 32Red Poker ambassador, is also scheduled to make her return to the feature table.
The game will change to pot-limit Omaha for the later stream.
For the fifth time, the Cash Game Festival will be awarding a trophy to the player that wins the most big blinds during any single session at a televised feature table.
Last night, Ukraine's Vladimir Demidov won €4,614 at the €5/€10 no-limit hold'em table or 461.4 big blinds. This represents the most big blinds won at the festival thus far, however, everything can change on the final day.
