Myrtil Gets Through Five Opponents on the Flop

Level 2 : Blinds 100/200, 100 ante

After five limps in front of him, Bichar Myrtil raised to 1,700 in the big blind. Four of his opponents called to see a flop of J52.

Following a check from Andrew Koenigsberg in the small blind, Myrtil bet 6,000. The table quickly folded around to Koenigsberg who asked, "you guys are leaving it to me to defend?"

Koenigsberg thought for a moment and then opted to fold as well, sending an early pot to Myrtil.

Paul Doubles through Threadgill

Level 2 : Blinds 100/200, 100 ante

A completed board of A106K9 was in the center of the table beside a pot of about 26,000 chips when Michael Paul went all in from late position for his last 11,200.

Brenda Threadgill, who had checked to Paul, thought briefly in early position before making the call.

Paul showed 10987 for a rivered ten-high straight. Threadgill showed AQ63 for two pair, aces and sixes, which soon after went into the muck as the pot was pushed to Paul.
