Pappas Doubles Through Schwartz

When we arrived at the table, the board was completed {10-Hearts}{q-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{2-Spades}. Art Pappas fired 25,000 into a pot of around 65,000, and Justin Schwartz moved all in for 262,000 more.

Pappas went into the tank, then made the call.

Schwartz unhappily turned over {a-Spades}{3-Diamonds} for a pair of threes, and Pappas tabled {q-Diamonds}{j-Hearts} for a pair of queens.

Roughly a minute after Pappas raked in the pot, Schwartz (not happy with his opponent's call) called his Pappas an idiot. Pappas fired back, asking Schwartz to show some respect, to which Schwartz said, "You have my chips, I can call you whatever I want."

Chan: {a-Diamonds}{k-Spades}

The board ran out {10-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{a-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{2-Clubs}, and McGuire was eliminated.

Sherman-Ash: {a-Hearts}{a-Spades}
Perlov: {k-Diamonds}{k-Spades}

Reilly announced that he folded ace-king.

The board ran out {a-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{10-Spades}{5-Spades}, and Sherman-Ash doubled to 480,000 chips. Perlov dipped to around 470,000.

William Klevitz - 25th Place

Justin Schwartz opened to 17,000 from the cutoff seat, William Klevitz three-bet jammed for 86,000 on the button, and both Art Pappas and Artyem Perlov cold-called from the blinds. Schwartz mucked.

The dealer fanned {6-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{2-Clubs}, and Pappas checked. Perlov tossed out 125,000, and Pappas folded.

Perlov: {10-Spades}{10-Diamonds}
Klevitz: {a-Hearts}{q-Spades}

Neither the turn ({k-Spades}), nor the river ({5-Spades}) improved Klevitz's hand, and he was eliminated.

The Bubble Hath Burst

Ken Silberstein - Bubble Boy
Ken Silberstein - Bubble Boy

Nicholas Palma raised to 19,000 from the small blind, Ken Silberstein defended his big blind, and the dealer fanned {6-Spades}{3-Clubs}{8-Spades}. Palma led out for 15,000, Silberstein raised to 35,000, and Palma re-raised to 85,000. Silberstein called.

The turn was another three - the {3-Spades} - and Palma checked. Silberstein moved all in for around 200,000, and Palma called.

Palma: {q-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}
Silberstein: {10-Spades}{7-Spades}

Palma needed either the board to pair or to hit one of the three remaining queens in the deck, and low and behold the {q-Spades} spiked on the river. Silberstein was eliminated on the stone bubble, while Palma is now above 1 million chips.

The remaining 25 players are now guaranteed $5,600.
