Dealer Controversy Erupts All Over Table 21

Joseph "Take the keys to my Hummer" Rutkai - argh, my eyes!
Massive controversy on table 21, as assorted tournament directors are called over in an effort to resolve a dispute between Englishman Will Fry and Joseph "Take the keys to my Hummer" Rutkai.

It seems that the two had found themselves heads up to a flop, at which point Rutkai, incidentally resplendent in an eye-watering orange and yellow combo, had moved all in. Fry claims that he said, "This is a bit of cooler, but I have to call," before turning over his cards, and most of the table agree that this is what happened. However, at this point instead of dealing a turn card, the dealer swept in all the cards and passed the chips over to Rutkai. Rutkai says that he heard Fry announce fold, the dealer doesn't speak enough English to know what she heard, and when I arrived at the table there were a lot of raised voices. The Hungarian TD's reaction was simply to break the table to prevent it coming to possible blows. Thomas Kremser continued to attempt to resolve the issue, but in the end it was ruled that the chips were in the possession of Rutkai and it was too late to do anything about it. Breaking the table was probably a good idea too...

156 Players Remaining

A slew of eliminations. A flurry of bustouts. Lots of knockouts. We're doing our best to keep up but a couple of tables have already broken. 156 players remain and we're just 100 more eliminations until the money bubble bursts.

Johnny Lodden Cracks Aces; Knocks Out Mathieu Albano

"Your Aces are no match for my 5-2 sooooted!"
"Your Aces are no match for my 5-2 sooooted!"
The subtitle of this post should be... Norway 1, France 0. Johnny Lodden flopped a flush with {5-Clubs} {2-Clubs} and got Mathieu Albano to commit all of his chips with {A-Clubs} {A-Hearts}. Albano turned a set of Aces and picked up several more outs but Lodden faded the bigger flush draw and full house draw to win the pot. A dejected Albano headed to the rail.

Table Of Doom

One particularly terrifying table is currently home to the following luminaries, among others:

Seat 1 - Annette Obrestad
Seat 2 - Ivo Donev
Seat 3 - Ramzi Jelassi
Seat 8 - Kara Scott

Yikes.

Lopes Lopes Away

Another unfortunate early bustee is Portuguese Roland De Wolfe lookalike Tiago Lopes. He pushed with {K-Clubs} {6-Spades} from the small blind, but big blind Andrea Benelli found {A-Clubs} {3-Hearts} a reasonable calling hand, and the {8-Diamonds} {8-Clubs} {5-Diamonds} {A-Hearts} {K-Spades} board wasn't enough to keep Lopes in the game.
