Marcel Luske Sighting

The always dapper Marcel Luske made an appearance in the media room. He joked, "There are more people in here than are left in the tournament." Indeed. The media room is packed with various members of different media outlets from all over the world. At this stage of the tournament, the media way outnumber the remaining players.

Mauro Corsetti Eliminated in 28th Place (€8,512)

Mauro Corsetti - 28th Place
Mauro Corsetti - 28th Place
Mauro Corsetti from Italy at one point held the chip lead during the early stages of the tournament when he amassed a big stack. The animated player just made an exit on a cooler of a hand. He was all in with {J-Clubs} {J-Diamonds} against Pantelis Pavlis' {A-Clubs} {A-Spades} . Corsetti could not improve his hand and he was eliminated. Zoltan Toth folded pocket nines face up preflop and Pavlis joked, "Why did you not call?!"

Christophe Wemelbeke Eliminated in 30th Place (€8,512)

Ciprian Hrisca raised to 17,000, and small blind Christophe Wemelbeke decided to make it all in for 49,000. "I call," announced Hrisca, and did just that. On their backs.

Wemelbeke: {J-Clubs} {J-Diamonds}
Hrisca: {K-Hearts} {Q-Hearts}

Flop: {6-Hearts} {10-Spades} {9-Hearts} -- dangerous...

Turn: {2-Diamonds} -- innocuous...

River: {J-Spades} -- absolutely the last card that Wemelbeke wanted to see, and thus disastrous.

They shake hands, and Wemelbeke is out in 30th place.

Ofir Abramovivi Eliminated in 33rd Place (€7,448)

Ofir vs. Ofer. I missed the betting action, but Ofir Abramovivi was all in against Ofer Golko. Ofer had Ofir covered.

Ofir: {A-Clubs} {5-Diamonds}
Ofer: {Q-Hearts} {10-Hearts}

The board ran out {J-Diamonds} {3-Diamonds} {2-Clubs} {6-Spades} {10-Clubs} . Ofir was ahead until Ofer spiked a pair of tens on the river. Ofir Abramovivi was eliminated in 33rd place. There are 32 players remaining on the final four tables.
