Erich Kollmann is struggling with 6,500 and just raised with aces, although found no action. "I picked the wrong chips," he joked as he revealed the bullets.
On the next table down, Chris Moorman reraised Davidi Kitai's opening raise from the small blind with one caller sandwiched between. Both Kitai and the caller folded in record speed.
Antony Lellouche appears on almost every final table at the EPT these days, he's currently on 27,000 after flat-calling an early position raise with with a third person coming into the pot. On the flop the original raiser bet 1,200, Lellouche made it 3,000 and the other player got out of the way. Now the raiser moved all-in and Lellouche called, up against the Frenchman had a few bullets to dodge but survived after the turn and river.
Without much fanfare, the WSOP Main Event winner Peter Eastgate is getting on with his favourite hobby . The Dane is a quiet figure amongst all the other players and seems quite happy to bask in the relative anonymity being at one of the tables away from the rail.
That is not to say he is not taking this tournament seriously, he raised a bet of 600 to 1,450 on a board before firing out 1,700 on the turn and 5,000 on the river. His opponent called the first of these bets but folded the river saying, "Nice bluff!"
Eastgate smiled back and said, "It was no bluff..."
Chris Moorman just came by, admitting, "I'm stupid."
He began to explain how he had raised preflop from early position with and was called by an aggressive Scandinavian player in the blinds. The flop came and Moorman bet 800 and was check-raised to 2,500. Moorman made the call and they saw the on the turn where it was checked to him a second time. "I bet 3,200 when I really should've checked and he check-raised me all in and completely owned me."
Although still in, he's now down below his starting stack after a good start.
Warsaw EPT winner Joao Barbosa has about 16,000 at the moment but for a rivered ace it would be easily over 20,000. He paid off a 3,000 on the river of a board only to be shown . He shook his head and flipped which was now no good.
Peter Eastgate is out. He raised preflop and Stuart Rutter made the call from the blinds. was the flop and Eastgate bet 1,000 after it was checked to him, Rutter made the call and then a call of 2,000 on the turn. On the river it was checked to Eastgate a third time who moved all-in for 7,750 and Rutter tanked as he barely covered the WSOP Champion. He made the call after a while tabling and Eastgate mucked, claiming he had and left the table.
