Gus Hansen Eliminated

Gus Hansen has just lost all of his chips over the course of two hands. In the first hand we caught the action with the board reading {7-Clubs}{K-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} and Hansen facing a 20,000-chip decision from a young opponent. Hansen seemed confused and stated that he simply couldn't put his opponent on a hand before making a call. The answer was a set of deuces, which was too good for Hansen's holding.

Two hands later and Hansen found himself in the big blind holding {A-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}, facing a raise from the same opponent. With only 5,300 behind once his blind was in the middle, Hansen decided to go with the hand. His opponent made a pot-committed call with {8-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} and we were off to the races.

Unfortunately for Hansen, it was a short race as the door card revealed the {8-Hearts} to all but end his hopes. The board ran out {8-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} and Hansen was eliminated from today's field.
