Corks for Kastle

We really don't know how we missed him earlier, but only just spotted: Casey Kastle, wearing an eye-achingly bright yellow t-shirt and one of those ridiculous Australian hats with the corks hanging off the brim.

He's on 45,000.

Aguiar Adds To Stack

Martin Jacobson raised to 800 and Jonathan Aguiar reraised quickly to 2,000, Jacobson called and both checked the {Q-Diamonds} {3-Diamonds} {2-Hearts} flop and the {9-Clubs} turn. On the {7-Clubs} river Jacobson bet 4,000 and Aguiar quickly called. Jacobson flipped {Q-Spades} {10-Hearts} but was pipped by Aguiar's {Q-Hearts} {J-Hearts}

Walthaus Takes the Lead

A player raised to 900 in early position and received a call in mid position. Over to Walthaus in the small blind who made it 3,150. Both players called, and they saw a flop.

Flop: {5-Diamonds} {6-Clubs} {5-Hearts}

Walthaus checked to the original raiser, who now bet 6,000. The caller got out of the way, but Walthaus called and they saw a turn.

Turn: {5-Clubs}

Our original raiser now bet out a very serious 15,000 -- but Walthaus raised very nearly all in, sticking his 42,000's worth of high denomination 5,000 and 1,000 chips in the middle.

His opponent seemed to give it some thought, but passed. Walthaus is now up to 83,000 and appears to be our chip leader.

Mercier Eliminated

Mercier No More...
Mercier No More...
Jason Mercier has been knocked out. He had rebuilt his stack before pushing all-in over a 4,000 bet on a {A-Spades} {10-Spades} {4-Diamonds} board. The button pushed behind and the third player folded his {A-?} {6-?} face up.

Mercier flipped {A-Hearts} {10-Clubs} and asked, "Fours?" His opponent nodded and showed {4-Hearts} {4-Spades} which stayed ahead on the {6-Hearts} turn and {8-Clubs} river.
