McDonald Suffers Hit

Mike McDonald saw a bet of 4,500 fired out at him on the turn of a {7-Diamonds} {3-Clubs} {2-Spades} {10-Clubs} board, a customary dwell and a call from the former Dortmund champion, coincidentally sharing the table with the current Dortmund champion Sandra Najouks.

On the {8-Diamonds} river, his opponent bet 12,500 and McDonald took a long time before folding his hand, quietly tapping the table as his opponent raked in a decently-sized pot.

Sporting Coren

Vicky Coren raised to 350 from the cutoff and Kristian Kjondal went to make the call from the small blind, but as he did so, he removed one of the 25 green chips, leaving two there and threw in a 500 chip.

Unsure if that was officially a call or a raise, there was a ruling that because he had pulled back a chip it was a reraise, even though both knew Kjondal was trying just to call.

Coren said, "I'm not going to reraise, I'll be fair," as the big blind folded.

She made the call and the flop came {4-?} {A-?} {5-?}, Kjondal checked and Coren bet 500. Kjondal instantly folded laughing and got shown {A-?} {Q-?} for his troubles.

FullFlush Turns Up

Luke Schwartz has been spotted, he's on the same table as Rory Matthews and Stuart Fox.

He's already made his mark too, picking up a pot by getting paid on the river of a {3-Hearts} {5-Clubs} {8-Spades} {K-?} {6-?} board when he showed {7-Hearts} {4-Hearts}.
